Adams week 2. Come on if he comes back its going to take longer than 1 week to get game ready.
Why would you want Adams to come back early? I say week 3 or 4 is when he comes back. Also you don’t trade Adams .
Come back early? He's been sitting on his ass for a full year. Since he's been here he's played in 25 games, and sat out 25. The guy should have been traded or waived.
Initially I was hoping they would hold out Adams until week 4 or 6 or else we would lose him for the season again. But now it looks like that's the case for Witherspoon. Roll the dice. If Adams is ready, let him play.
Geno can be very good, but if Pete wants to go with a run first offense, geno won't get as good stats as last year, while both walker and charbonnet should complement each other, splitting carries, while keeping both fresh throughout the game. DJ will also be used, and is good depth if one gets hurt.
Even with a successful run first offense, Geno will still throw at least 24 times a game. His stats could actually improve with a healthy run game. There should be less turnovers this year.

I know you're talking about FF, but the running game is going to be predicated on the performance of the offensive line. DJ Dallas would be a 1,000 + rusher if he was the best RB they had with a really good O line.
I’m not worried if they’re still getting football ready. Hopefully both are back @ 100% week 3 home game against the Panthers.

I agree with Corbin. I think Geno will reach 75% completion rate. Dallas is probably negative about life and it makes him think about the positive.
If Geno completes 75% he will break some NFL records. He should be good, but not that good.

90% 3 RBs with 250+ yrds. That's if McIntosh is on the roster for most of the reg season.

25% 3 edge rushers with 6+ sacks. Taylor is going to take a step back with 5 or 6 sacks. Nwosu and Mafe will have over 6 sacks a piece. Seahawks should have at least 42 sacks this year.
50% for the rushing D to make it to top 15. Completely revamped D, so more likely to be about #18. It will be rough going the first half of the season.
Let's hope it's around 18. You could sort of live with that. But should be better just because Seattle should be winning the games meaning teams have to pass to catch up;) If teams are running 30 times a game on Seattle, they are losing those games.

Witherspoon has had a chronic problem with his hamstring for well over 6 months now and maybe it goes back further than that. He is not going to be game ready in a couple of weeks. If Seattle has a bye in week 5, I wouldn't expect to see Witherspoon play any real time until week 6. He's going to need two weeks of full practice before game ready and he is not even ready to go out on the practice field yet. Like you said, a player can feel good but not be fully healed. I think this is what happened when he started practicing in August. If he starts or plays in game 2, I'll be shocked because he would run a high risk of getting re-injured.
You are right it's not good. Really its 6 months. That's a problem. And with pulls if it's 99% you could still pull it and be right back where you started very easily. You can't be ready in 6 months I could see a whole season missed. Now he's not a wasted pick. He's talented. But like Adams what good is talent when you don't play.

He's untradeable, You couldn't give him away unless you paid part of his salary. What's clear, is you might as well see it out through the end of the season. After which, it probably makes sense to cut him.
Witherspoon will be the worst 1st round pick in franchise history. Remember this.
- had no need at corner whatsoever (especially not at 5)
- passed on a generational talent at the position that was needed most (DT)
- chronic hamstring
- held out as a rookie
Now the D-Line is still suspect and this guy who was more worried about his check than getting healthy is not even available for week 1.

Good thing is, the db room didnt need this guy in the first place with its depth and talent so we'll be fine. Just wasted a #5 pick which is mindboggling.
Hardly the worst ever. Seattle has had far worse. Witherspoon was one of the most talented players in the entire draft. And in a passing league CB with his talent are hard to pass up.

Witherspoon had an injury after the fact. You can't bring Jalen into the conversation as if you're comparing the health of either player on draft night.

There was never any question about Carters talent. What is important is where both players are in 3-5 years. They investigated Carter and felt he was too big a gamble. GA coaches were happy to see Carter go. Usually college coaches fall all over themselves to give great recommendations.
When you’re drafting in 1-10 the guy you pick has to be a good person and player.

I should be optimistic about this season but i just cant ignore the fact that we have too many holes with our offensive and defensive line. Teams like the eagles and 49ers are going to run on us plus going after the quarterback. Its going to be a repeat of last year. Just not good enough. Division round at best. I do not see us beating the Chiefs, 49ers, Eagles , bengals or even the Jets until problem gets resolved.
The Jets? The Jets are going 5-12 so you'd better beat the Jets. The Jets defensive numbers were over blown being five of their wins came against 2 and 3rd QBs. The Jet's offensive line is horrible. And in that division, they'll be lucky to reach 7 wins. The Jets scare no one.
