Experience of shipping in China is like 1-2 days from any place nationally (not limited to taobao, these are stand alone logistics companies). JD.com is the similar one to Amazon in CN, they ship from local warehouses instead of persons and usually take hours to 1 day. Taobao is more like ebay, as said in the vid. Lets be mature and understand that they are not quite in the same category. I am enough when ebay sellers don't ship the thing while ebay keep asking me to wait for another week. If this happens on taobao, complains take effect immediately and people will complain no special reason late shipping after just 1-2days. Under rules, lazy businesses will be out of competition in weeks. Taobao is like ebay, a p2p platform. As chaos as a developing country like CN, it is pretty amazing to keep sth running at this pace. Why not just see them compete and learn good features from each other instead of pick a side? As consumer, we will always benefit from competitions, aren't we?

Picking the best stocks requires a lot factors and seems daunting for beginners like myself. From my own point of view, you need to invest smartly, if you need the good things of life. i made over $740,000 from

People around the world do not realize that AliBaba is Chinese-government controlled "Cormorant fishing". So called 'Sellers' are in fact one-man-with-laptop company. They do not have anything except a website which tries to attract buyers by misleading information - absolutely NOTHING is as it is advertized. Everything is exaggerated (at best) or completely false (at worst). Then, if many buyers complain, the Chinese-government controlled "Cormorant fishing" starts to use another one-man-with-laptop company offering the same crap. Note that there are 1.5 billion one-man-with-laptop potential companies in China.
Further, the so called 'Sellers' push the buyer to order minimum a container of something and then, after the buyer does all the hard work to market the product at his local place, the so called "Seller" starts to sell directly 1-2 pcs of the product to individuals at the local place of the buyer of one container with the product. This way all costs for marketing the (crappy) product remain with the Western buyer, while Chinese-government controlled "Cormorant fishing" model makes all profits.
How do I know all this? From first-hand experience with multiple so called 'Sellers' from the Chinese-government controlled "Cormorant fishing" business model.
NEVER EVER what so called 'Sellers' did advertise, say or even did put in written about the product they sell was true.
