Paul has been arrested, the Fisherman has been sighted, and the early church is being raided. Luke, Paul’s travelling companion, hides from the dreaded Temple Guard with the early disciples in the hopes of furthering his research into a report on Jesus. I saw the movie on the Angel app but apparently there is also a series? Where can I watch that? The movie was amazing.
The words “parable” and “parables” 47 x in the Gospels strangely not 1 time after that??
I love this show! 😊 The only thing I wish was different is, for the female side characters to have been more modestly dressed. Even if they weren't portrayed as Christians, it would be much more comfortable to watch if the women had less revealing clothes on. Some were too low in front, but mostly way too short dresses and shots taken from a bad angle. I'm not here to over criticize, just suggesting something that could use a bit of improvement to consider young male Christian viewers such as my brothers.
woke casting (DEI) will ruin this project. Even Christians are tired of it. Looks like you were forced to check one box for every other box. Casting looks contrived, just like Hollywood. Most likely will pass.

You've clearly never been to London. The cast is representative of the parts of the city they're in. I'm sure you could find a white Jesus story set in Russia or somewhere?
