She is back to a level of control she hasn't had ever I think. Her range was slightly higher in her 20's but she was all over the place with onsets and offsets. That F5 was like a seasoned gymnast stuck firm w both feet planted.
I saw an interview and they asked her you know do you still like work on your singing and she said my job is to be a vocalist and she said so that means that I am continuously working on my craft she's like there are so many notes that are so much more easy for me to hit now then when I was younger so she's just literally continuously worked to stay perfectly wonderful and it's why her range has basically expanded from one end to the other of the spectrum She didn't touch the lower notes before but now we see this amazing soulful voice and she can knock any high note that she needs to I think she kind of holds back in studio for the show sometimes cuz it's a very close audience kind of blast.
I love you Kelly! Your music has literally gotten me through the toughest times throughout my life. You voice is magic and the way you can take any song and make it your own and we can feel your emotion is so powerful. I hope one day I will get to see you in concert. I love every song on your new album!!!❤ I went through something very similar last year in July and this last album is exactly where I’m at, compared to where I was at during previous albums. Seems to always be on the same page.
I love this song! That high note alone honestly helped make this one of my top favorites on the album next to Red Flag Collector, Rock Hudson, Favorite Kind of High and Lighthouse.
