That’s why they have coaches. They see everything the players do. Great job by the coaches!!
If Brownlee makes a huge step in route running we can play a spread offense half the time. Garret & Mike level 2&3 Brownlee & Corley level 1&2 with Breece as the hot read. Opposing defenses don’t have the personnel to play quarter and if they tried we would run the ball with Breece for 18 yards a clip. Score in the third quarter would be 44 jets vs 17 opponents.
Ruckert is the one that is going to have THE breakout season!!!

What you forget about Brownlee is that he was injured late training camp/preseason and was never the same after
There can only be one leader
There is definitely a path to playing time. They shouldn’t rush Williams back till week 5. Let Brownlee compete for the other WR spot
As long as he can get separation off the line of scrimmage! Maybe I’m being overly optimistic but you’d think him practicing with G.Wilson he’d pick up a few things on winning off the line of scrimmage! He definitely has the size and speed range you’d want in a X receiver. Also has shown flashes of catching those 50/50 jump balls/ throw it up to me catches ( albeit in practice/ ota)
In hard knocks he seemed like a hard worker,plus coming from a “ smaller school” plus UDFA gives him that extra chip on his shoulder.
Obviously rooting for the guy ! Hopefully him not having to start last season and being slowly integrated to the offense/nfl will benefit in the long run! UDFA’s are meant to be projects and hopefully we got all the right ingredients with him!

No I haven’t but I did see him drop or run bad routes with several jets QB’s. Granted Aaron said he was a hard worker and good locker room guy. So maybe he can resurrect his carreer. But don’t forgot The Jets tried to trade him to anybody and everybody said HELL NO.
Everybody can't coach they need to hire me
Unless Lazard becomes a stud because of Aaron, Brownlee over Lazard.

Jason Brownlee could make a year two leap. Lazard was a disappointment with a new team. If Williams is still suffering from injuries could either see Corley or Brownlee as an outside reciever.
I have given up on lazard.

Brownlee should play opposite Garret until Mike is ready period. Lazard is to unreliable even with Aaron
