Mick Taylor added flavor to the music that the Stones were fortunate to experience for a few years. I was very lucky to have met him. A very easy going and conversational man.
They became a brand new band during '69 tour, when they started hanging the sound!
The gritty black-and-white film makes this illustrious song even more intriguing! Great!
Actually this was filmed on open reel video tape which at the time what was very primitive home video recorders. It’s amazing that this even exsists and when we found the master tape back around 2010 we were blown away.

Thanks so much for your response! Extraordinarily interesting story! I was blown away as well!
Nice memories. First saw the Stones in 1970, I think. San Francisco Winterland.
They did not tour the U.S. in 1970. Winterland was June ‘72.
They were touring in Europe 1970 after 1969 US tour i suppose.
That was a good tour
Wow! I don't think this has been seen before? Thank you so much for sharing!
Ohlala my friends, Jagger and his boys in 100 points. Welcome 2024. Everrrr Stones life.
They were great in 1969 but incredibly great in 1972
Even better in 73, Just have to listen to Brussell Affair.
What a special treat, Thank you! Can we have more please??
This is great even if it’s an audience recording. It’s probably Mick Taylor’s debut on Jack Flash in the States. Awesome!
15th show of the tour
@@shawnriffhard Okay but I don’t care. It’s Mick Taylor and it’s rare footage!
@@dynjarren8355 Well, just glad to help!

No problem. I’m just excited to see rare footage from the seventies Stones.
@@dynjarren8355 historical & awasome
Is Mick Taylor on the lead guitar, isn't it?
Yes. 1st U.S. Tour after Brian, November, ‘69.
He was about to start playing lead after the first verse. Jagger must have shouted oy to him.
I didn't know they had mobile phones in 1969
Cine camera.
I know, was just joking :) @@BigSky1
Yep, thanks to alien technology, sir. 😂
nice
Very rare, but very cool, Cannot imagine this was common tech back in the day.,, You should repost some of your beatle content, especially "Thank Your Lucky Stars 1963"
First saw the Stones on June 5, 1964 at the Swing Auditorium in San Bernardino, CA. You could hear the first few chords of a song, and then the girls would scream so loud you couldn't hear the rest. I always thought Mick Taylor gave a harder edge to the Stones. Never understood why he left - could it be Keith couldn't handle the competition?
He felt he was dying from his heroin addiction, so wise choice.
😮😮😮
Love Mick J. & his hip thrusts…ooof….he’s so darn sexy (!) 😅 Wish I’d been born earlier & saw this tour…lucky audience!!! ❤
