Seeing the clear go on will never loose that magic as it reveals the base.
Great stuff.
Great explanation of Pearl Vs Metallic, good to see more coats vs more volume per coat.
Love this color green, and the new corvette green! Both look good in the sunlight!

:)) i'm happy to hear that. Have a nice day! :)
beautiful color nice job!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks, Yeah it is a nice color
you should try using a sealer before you spray your base it helps a lot with getting proper coverage needing less coats to cover the repaired area . i am a painter in canada and i like your spray gun comparisons good job on the videos very helpful
Usely when i have this type of transparent base coat(PPG), i spray the first layer a uni green base coat, just only for coverage, then apply the pearl base, followd by clear!! Maybe tip for future? Nice job by the way!!! Greets from holland europe!!!
Great job some of us a learning hear in sauth Sudan

I don't know how much flake if any at all is in the paint. But the color is pretty sick. It would look crazy n my EVO. Looks almost like a candy green. Love it. Nice job.

Spies water !!!!! So amazing
Nice paint
great job man
Thnx man,i learned a lot of you
Just curious... do you ever alter the colour of your primer coats according to the base coat to be applied?
As a non-tradesman, but somebody that spent 14 years painting commodores etc. at the factory, our primers - generally speaking - came in three or four shades depending on the intended basecoat - sometimes more (light/mid/dark/pink/white).
Some of the colours used, the primer coat was a significant portion of the final coat colour (high transparency).
I always thought that colour matching outside of the factory would be a major PITA outside of the factory on some of these colours.
Thanks for the helpful tips
Good Gunman
well Done prof & Thank u for the video :)
Super great job
i love your work i have like that car before maybe in australia call it comodore but here in arab gulf its name is chevrolet ( lumina )
got some serious talent man!
where would be the best place to get paint supplies? im in perth and want to spray my car with 2k i was recommended concept paint from park automotive what are your suggestions. Great video btw!
Great work
I love this green color
Superbe travail bravo
I like the kningon bird of prey paint job. Reminiscent of the star trek bir of prey. Green and orange a little.
could you have used a tinted primer to help with base coat coverage Lighthouse of color and some of them suggest or would this have thrown off your matching ability to trying to match the factory color?
We used Metalux paint on this car and it was as a trial, they accidentally gave us the wrong variant first so we had an extra 2 litres of base colour which I used first to get coverage then put the top colour over it. I don't like using primer on door gaps, it can creep in there and make an edge that you can see after you unmask it so spending a little more time on the basecoat is quicker than masking, prepping and spraying all the edges cos they look shit.
Blair Wise et y sut break n'y
This is my work i need a place to work
A flat color coll in Philippines k92 pant bran
Its easy to work like that
I'm new to painting and want to know, do you not have to primer the entire car before you paint it? I've seen a lot only partially primered.
Thanks!
came up a beauty
Nice job. why don’t you seal the car first in something like PPG dp40?You would have coverage in 3 coats. Most factory finishes has a grey/green undercoat prior to basecoat. Still a nice job.
Like the color !
Hey gunman! How much does this cost roughly for this exact colour on the same kind of car?!
Exlent work
Gunman thank you for learning video
Amee Hasa 5th
Hi i was told you can mix the clear with your last couple of coats when spraying acrylic does that sound right.
Subscribed, I like the work you do it makes it easy to understand, and like me your aussie well done man.
Thanks mate, hope you check out some of my newer vids, I think they're a lot better than these old ones.
So good Man 👌
Waaaawww.. fantastic
Hey gunner . I have a question how long after you clear coat can you flow coat given the conditions are without a bakeoven.
Nice clear coat
nice job
dont know why i just watched that. But i watched the whole lot, great work mate. not a fan of green but that looks smicko!
SuperJammz haha, thanks mate :-)
What are some good books on collision and autobody paint refinishing that covers the fundamentals repairs up to mixing and spraying paints? I can't find any reviews on youtube, and amazon don't allow browsing parts of the books anymore.
Very good video
Hi gunman When clearing the bonnet do you increase fluid slightly too or just drop pressure a touch ? I know its an older video but i seem to get a little more texture on bonnets 👍👍
Are you enjoying the new place on your own ? Thanks
Satisfying to watch
Hi Gunman, where are you located. I want this exact pain on my car. I’m in California, beautiful job, I love this green color 🤩
this guy is a beast...i dont know how ppl can have the brave to tell him what to do or whats""the best" for better results? guys....he s a pro in this shit so stop the hating Nice flawless job man like always keep up the good job Bless
Good afternoon, what kind of air head do you use TE-20 or TE-10,110
would u paint my ke70 in perth? like gloss red or candy red for cheap if i do prep work?
Good job
Perfect top 😍
I’d of put a dark grey b/coat on first to aid covering!
I was thinking the same thing or black.. Would help hide it quick..
i am not a painter but the old autocolour allowed 5% colour in the primer to get the 1st coat coverage easyier
AWESOME!!! HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?
So good

Hello Gunman. I noticed in some painting videos you leave the hood/bonnet on and in other videos you take it off. Is there a specific reason for why you would leave it on? Or do you go back and open it and paint under it? I'm just confused about that part. Thank you for your time. :)
One thing I don't miss about solvent is the coverage!
yeah the greens and reds are especially bad
excellent!
