It was really sad for Paulie to die like that. He deserved better.
yeah I like the new Pauli he's more funnier and more likable
I think so too
A crying shame that Paulie had to die. I really liked the guy. Great sense of humor.
10:29 when your mom says you can have McDonald's
this comment is awesome
1:18 seeing paulie that happy made me laugh rip to paulie the best and the younger brother of the family
Potential spoiler
He’s much more experienced than Tommy tho
@@humanbeing4492 still the younger brother
yeah rip Pauli he was may favorite
Paulie's the older one actually. Tommy is 38, Sam is 37. Paulie's 39 pushing 40 at the end of the game
All we need a paulie in our life
I wish I had a friend like Paulie in my life
I had a friend like Paulie. But sadly he's hooked on heroin now. He was a big drinker when we were teenagers and he got Into all sorts of crazy shit when we would hangout. Having a friend like that is fun but it also gets old
4:56 LMAAOO i love paulie!!! 😭😭❤️❤️❤️
"Your gonna tell us he's the President cousin or something???"
"HEY GENIUS!" Oh man Paulie is awesome
I like this new version of Paulie - very realistic, with all the character flaws that a real human being would display. He bullies Raphie because he himself is derided by his fellow mobsters and needs to take it out on someone. He gets drunk at the race because he's jealous of Tom's success and feels that Tom already got in front of him in Salieri's eyes. In the bank mission, he feels desperate because he knows he cannot not get any higher in rank and wants to strike a final score before retiring. In the end he met the only fate he could get, bank or no bank: if he got older and became a liability to the organization Salieri would have had to silence him one way or another. But I don't like the new Sam too much: almost indistinguishable from Paulie in appearance in speech, he is just a washy character with nothing particular to remember apart from his final betrayal of Tom. The old Sam was much better: tall and intimidating, dressed in a distinctive suit, speaking in a deeply affected voice and mimicking a manager's demeanor, he was exuding power.
Like that analysis! But I think Sam's change was for the better. For me, he's kinda unique. He's the only one who it's really loyal to Salieri. He might not be intimidating but he gets serious when he needs it. And he seems affected by the life. Whilr Tommy and Paulie almost always show emotion one way or the other, Sam has always that cold look. That hundred yard stare.
@@theportugueselegend I like the new versions of them as well. Paulie is the loud jokester who is self-conscious and doubts his role in the mob, Tommy is the confident family man who initially enjoys the perks of mafia life but eventually becomes jaded, while Sam is the cold calculating one who gives up everything to the mob, including his friends and family, until mafia life is all he has.

Yeah Paulie is the most "human" in the gang, in contrast to Sam who doesn't show many emotions & is just Salieri's slave. Actually he's the most professional of them all because real mafiosi from the Cosa Nostra a hundred years ago be it on Chicago, NYC or just Italy, were only loyal to one thing : the family.
I couldn't agree more with this.
I disagree about Sam, complimented the other guys really well. Stone cold but not over the top, very likeable and felt reliable the whole way through until the end which made his character even more memorable. thought the three amigos were fantastic together.
Paulie a dream cool uncle that we never had
Paulie's last words in the game: "See you around, pal."
Yeah... See you in 8 in-game years on the other side, Paulie...
Jeremy Luke is a great actor.
That bootlegger guy was a reborn saint, that level of patience and understanding is ridiculous
Paulie might be my favorite character in any video game I've played. Terrifically written and reworked in the remake...the train scene even moved me to tears. love this game so much, very rare a game has as good as a story as this.
The cow says moo
The chicken says quake
What does the bird say
Me: HAHA LoL 😂
5:27 😂😂😂
Should have edit the "Cow says moo, and the chicken says quack. What does the bird say?" scene. Anyways, great job!
3:36 No fucks given 😂
someone said, I don't remember who, that nice and happy people many times are sad inside and don't want to make people close to them feel the same feeling
Let's just say every cut scene for Paulie are mostly badasss or funny
Paulie was a goofy guy who was in bad business
Can't help but wonder how different their lives could've been if only Sam and Paulie just stole Tommy's cab instead of making him drive. Would they have still escaped? If so how would the back and forth with Morello have turned out? How would've Tommy's life turned out?
Sam's awful at driving so they would've probably died.
Honestly, they probably would have both been killed. It's made clear in the mission that Tommy escapes from Morello's henchmen because he's an experienced driver, knows a bunch of shortcuts, and is so familiar with the streets that he knows the fastest possible route to Salieri's Bar.
If Sam and Paulie were both killed, then Salieri's war with Morello would have broken out much earlier and almost certainly ended with the former's death. Remember that in 1930 Morello had most of Lost Heaven's cops in his pocket and had already flipped Salieri's bodyguard so he could have easily set him up whenever he wanted.

Paulie reminds me of Rocky a little bit from Looney Toons.
Shame that Paulie had to die. I really liked him in the remake, just as much as i like Joe from Mafia 2. And i like them both, a lot.
Dude paulie was my favourite character from the first time i saw him

Paulie is now waiting for tommy to get his family paulie knew when he died that Tom is his truest friend paulie and tom is almost the same friendship as Arthur Morgan’s and John marston I kinda wish they would’ve kept paulie maybe you could choose to send him on a plane too much hope paulie rip you King
