      @@Arian-gg2dq That is up to you, find meaning where you want it. If your family and friends mean something to you, then they mean something to you. Life is short and full of hardships, listen to yourself and find what is personally true for you in regards to the metaphysical. If in fact nothing really has objective purpose, who cares? What does that mean anyways? We invented the language, so go with it. If you find yourself upset at the fact that everything might not have objective meaning or purpose, just remember you are a subject, so you're subjective meaning is not any less valid to your personal experience. There are not rules to how you SHOULD feel, there are only the feelings. They are personal, nobody else can tell you to feel a certain way if you don't, and if they try you might feel resentful about the fact that they are. "I" do not have a problem with accepting the purpose in purposelessness, and there is only a problem if you get in your own way. Cheers

      I desire to be free from desire. I realize that that very desire is the only thing keeping me from attaining it, but I struggle with letting go of that desire. Some part of me fears letting go, fears that process of my ego dissolving. I see within me an infinite abyss, a great nothingness without end. I know I shouldn't fear it, that to embrace it wouldn't hurt, and yet still I cling to the idea of myself. Letting go of that idea before I die is my greatest goal in life.

      There is mire to life than dearh. We are taught that we are accidents and life is meaningless. I tell you that is a lie from hel! God is personal. He knit you in your mother's womb. You are here at this time for a reason. And the reason begins with finding Him. He is not a distant uninterested God. He kniws when you sit down and rise up. He has numbered the hairs on your head. He came to this world in,the oerson of His Son. He was born of a virgin who was liwly and humble in heart. He was born in a small vilkagr called Beyhlrhem and was wraoed in rags and slept in a feed trough. It was poor despised sheoherds that the Father first called to see His Son. The rich wisemen were two years later when He was a todler and was in a house. He came to call to us to turn to Him for all we like sheep have gone astray and Je laid upon Him the iniquity if us all. This Christmas seek Him out and learn of Him and from Him. These words are words of life not death. And Jesus is the living Word of God. COME !

      There is no reason. Reason implies there is a goal, or conclusion we are trying to reach, I don’t see that being the case. We are the only thing in the universe we know for certain where our existence precedes our essence. If you make a knife, you make it because you have something you need to cute. You have a purpose in mind for creating that knife. As far as we can tell, there is nothing we need to cut. No direct purpose for use being here. Life’s reason is what you make it to be. As long as it’s an authentic reason to you. And has meaning to YOU, that’s all that should matter in my opinion. Live your life for you, and no one else. Life is short, enjoy it, or don’t enjoy it, hate it or love it. The choice is yours

    • @mr.westin1313
      @mr.westin1313 Před 4 lety +6

      Lanie Gardner if that’s what you choose to do then by all means go for it. It’s your life after all. I’m just saying it is my belief that there is no one true inherent meaning for each person in this life beyond their own interpretation of it. If YOU believe you have a purpose, no matter what it may be, then that’s all that matters right? Make your own meaning, accomplish your goals and live a full life, or you can sit on your couch and do absolutely nothing. Neither choice is inherently right or wrong. It is up to each individual to decide if their life has purpose and what that purpose might be.

    This is the way I’v always seen death! Come from nothing and go back to it. In a way we don’t fear death we fear not ‘being’.. but we had no fear before we were born right? And we shall go back to that.. no fear, no hurt, no pain, no stress, no worry etc .. sure that includes no love, joy, happiness etc but when we find those things in our brief existence they outweigh all the negatives do they not? It’s really is a case of make the most of today.. your a Alive now, your ‘being’ thinking & feeling now and death can’t change the fact that you had this moment

Just as I try to go back behind my eyes and find what is there I come to a blank, if I try to remember back and back and back to my earliest memories and behind that - nothing, total blank. But just as I know there’s something behind my eyes by using my fingers on my head, so I know through other sources of information that before I was born there was something going on. There were my father and my mother, and their fathers and mothers, and the whole material environment of the Earth and its life out of which they came, and behind that the solar system, and behind that the galaxy, and behind that all the galaxies, and behind that another blank - space. I reason that if I go back when I’m dead to the state where I was before I was born, couldn’t I happen again?"

    If you went to sleep, into unconsciousness for always and always, it wouldn’t be at all like going into the dark; it wouldn’t be at all like being buried alive. As a matter of fact, it would be as if you had never existed at all! Not only you, but everything else as well. You would be in that state, as if you had never been. And, of course, there would be no problems, there would be no one to regret the loss of anything. You couldn’t even call it a tragedy because there would be no one to experience it as a tragedy. It would be a simple - nothing at all. Forever and for never. Because, not only would you have no future, you would also have no past and no present.

    116k views and im the first like...i feel that the death aspect has still grasp on so many of you..the more you come to know death..the more life shines..the more peace wil enhance in your existence. see in detail more of what youve never seen..though weve never seen anything..play the game that says you have seen things..embrace existence in its entirety..and look harder with an open child like mind. unite with each other and share lessons that there is nothing to fear..lessons from tibet. the tibetan book of living and dying is a great teacher. meditate..contemplate..but realise we are already there..you just come to view it clearer..nothing to fear. #weareone
