Man, Dell Curry still has it...his shooting form is so natural. He must have practiced that form over a million times to perfection. Steph Curry is a natural as well. He makes it look so easy. LaMelo Ball can step 8-10 feet from behind the three point arc and launch it as well.
Melo exudes confidence and masculinity. You can tell he was raised by a real man. I've seen this in men that had a dominant male figure in the house.

I ain't gone lie. I always read stories about men who feel the need to succeed to not let down their father. That everything that they did no matter how huge will never really be appreciated as he was groomed for it since childhood.
I get the same vibes from Melo. My father never really had any impact on my life so I feel confident in knowing that what I've achieved has been my own strength.
But if you think about the lengths Lavar went to to have his children succeed its wild. From the tall mother, to the coaching to the mindset and the unbridled confidence he has for his sons. Quite amazing. But if I were Lamelo as he said I wouldn't ever feel proud of anything, as it was always supposed to be like this.
Talented men all have a similar reaction though. Like me being smart as a child and into adulthood. I know I'm smarter than others so when I would solve a problem others couldn't it never felt rewarding. Just like the praise I'd received felt fake and undeserved, after all I'm simply being me.
Women would call us heartless but honestly the sad truth is the grind don't stop. There is always a way to be better and achieve more.

Although I didn't agree with certain moves that Lavar Ball made, no one can deny the fact that he's the ultimate father and family man. So often, we hear the narrative about Black fathers being absent from their children's lives. Lavar Ball has been there from Day 1 and is THE reason why his sons are in the league today. You can call him loud, crazy, and arrogant but he's that dude. He backs up his talk and that can't be said about everybody.
