TheBakeey Why wouldn’t you exit through the secret passage from the Room of Requirement to the Hog’s Head? You can’t have forgotten that my fellow Slytherin, have you? In the movie it makes no sense that the Slytherin students would go with Filch to the dungeons. He has no control over them because he can’t do magic, he would not be able to lock up an entire house of witches/wizards.
I hate that they removed Percy's story from the movies. All we get of that is random shots of him standing behind Fudge in Order of the Phoenix.

One of the things I hate is that we don't get a backstory to the Black Sisters. I mean, what we know is that Bellatrix became a deatheater, Andromeda married a mughleborn and got disowned, and Narcissa was just there. I NEED A BACKSTORY.

As a Hufflepuff, I wish there were more Hufflepuff representation and we got to see the Hufflepuff common room, and maybe got to see the Hufflepuffs fighting in the Battle of Hogwarts because honestly their level of dedication and perseverance there was bound to be some amazing spell casting that we just didn't see. I also hate how the Creevey brothers died or one of them died at least in the books, and we didn't really get much on their character development except that they were both obsessed with Harry. Also I found it surprising that no one bothered to look for Snape's body in the Shrieking Shack, like we saw all of the bodies in the Great Hall that were either dead or injured even in the book but we never saw Snape, Harry could have told Nevel or another professor that they should check the Shrieking Shack for Snape like did Harry hate Snape that much that he just left him to decompose in the shack? It would make for an interesting conversation though if say Albus his son found his way into the Shrieking Shack and found an entire skeleton in there and asked his dad about it, like "yeah that was the person you were named after son, I didn't bother to bring him up to the school the night I was battling Voldermort cause I was too busy being awesome to care. Plus he was never the nicest to me, anyway let's go eat some booger flavored jelly beans."
i personally love hinny! after all thoses years ginny waited for harry, he saved ginny in the second book. they are perfect for each other! ginny supported harry and stuck with him when harry was breaking up with her. then harry realized she’s perfect! i understand the draco and harry but likeee hinny for life yall

At the end of the Order of the Phoenix book Dumbledore had this whole talk with Harry and explained everything. He explained why he left Harry with the Dursleys, why Voldemort tried to kill Harry, EVERYTHING!! And I HATE how it doesn’t even make it into the movie, like WHY? You literally could not have picked something more important to leave out of the movie!

I prefer Harry as an auror cuz he never taught as a teacher unless he had to , the only time was the DA , yes he was good but we never saw Harry do something like that again he wasn’t naturally gravitated towards it , but apart from that he was always trying to find things if something was going on , he always connected the dots , even when everyone was like “Harry nothing is happening calm tf down “ he was like “nah somethings wrong “ so that career is fitting

I hate everything about Cedric's death . Firstly , he did not deserve to die , like for the first time Hufflepuff was getting the attention that they deserved and he got killed .And the reason why he died was just because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time . He deserved a more heroic death . And in the movies they were actually playing music in the background , like please .And the fandom is not sad enough about his death, like he was so young and unproblematic 😭
I think that's more to do with Rowling's writing. It's been a while since I read the books, but I remember being more shocked that a character was killed than upset it was Cedric. Rowling had a habit of introducing certain things one book at a time, even though it could've been mentioned before. Cedric was one of those things. He wasn't important to plot in the first 3 books but he still could've had "screen time." He was a neighbor of the Weasley, right? He could've come over to play Quidditch with them while Harry was there for book 2, or something. But I don't think he was even mentioned until the fourth book. The readers are given 1 book to grow attached to a boy who's relatively nice, but in competition with the main protagonist. When they could've been given 4 books to get to know him as a friendly, good natured, Hufflepuff who's pretty competent (considering he was the Hogwarts champion). He didn't have to have a lot of scenes, but SOME scenes throughout the first 3 books would have helped.
I agree with almost all of this. One of the things I disagree with is that they should’ve used the veritaserum more often bc in the books it says that it could only be used in unsuspecting people
And Polyjuice became surprisingly common in later books. There should be Polyjuiced spies all over the place in the final book!

So, yeah, Veritaserum, probably, would have been useless on Sirius and the Ministry knew it. Also, with a case such as Voldemort and The Potters, Veritaserum's lack of reliability and the fact that it would not have been legally considered definitive proof, I would imagine the Ministry didn't even consider it.
Also, who was keeping Sirius in Azkaban? Not the Ministry or anyone actually at Azkaban. Sirius was an unregistered Animagus. He could have walked out the front door any time he wanted by shifting into a dog. Just like he did in "Prisoner of Azkaban." No, Sirius remained in Azkaban for 12 years of his own accord. And if I had to guess, I would say Dumbledore asked him to stay in exchange for some protection from the Dementors (he WAS the Head Warlock of The Wizengamot, after all). I actually have a theory about that, but this comment has gone on long enough.
Its a bit like how Hermoine completely forgot to use magic on the Devil's snare until Ron reminded her. Theres so many elements of magic in the wizarding world that people are bound to forget something in the heat of the moment.

I literally agree with everything your saying! (Except for Harry and Ginny, I thought they were cute in the books) Especially Snape and Lilly and Cho Chang. I saw this weird fanart of Snape looking at the mirror of erised with Lilly as his wife and Harry as HIS child! It was creepy! Also about Cho Chang, my friend and I hate her so much. The Ministry didn't use Veritaserum on Harry because they thought Harry had gone mad, so there was no purpose of using it. If Harry said Voldemort was back under the Serum, the Ministry would just say that was what he believed.
