- Somehow, we're halfway through the latest Star Trek: Lower Decks season already. Things are heating up for the crew of the USS Cerritos in the brand new fifth episode, "Empathalogical Fallacies". Not one but three Betazoids have come aboard the ship, and the crew are going mad! Chaos ensues, and a certain Vulcan gets much to do in this explosive new instalment.

Title: Betazoid Chaos! - Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 4 Episode 5
#StarTrek #LowerDecks - Zábava
I do love that the friendship between Shax and Boimler is growing and still being developed since last season final
Trust me Jack, I’ve already grown fond of T’Lyn too. She may be one of my more favorite characters in Star Trek too.
ALL 5 Episodes this season....could arguably be in the Top 10 of Lower Decks Episodes EVER.....This. Season. Has. Been. AWESOME.
I love the little touches in the show. Like how the pupils of the Betazoids are slightly larger than the other humanoid characters in the show. Like how Freeman had the wherewithal to know something was wrong and try to solve it even while literally high on telepathy. Shows how Starfleet Captains are cut from different material.
T'Lyn was a great addition for Lower Decks, makes me wish that there should be another SNW and Lower Decks crossover, so T'Lyn would've an interaction with Spock.
I absolutely love T'lyn's character, she's my favorite
Lower Decks is getting good!!! Thanks for the great review Captain Jack!!! 🖖
It's been good since season one. I was very skeptical before it launched as most adult animated comedies of recent years have sucked.
However it's been both poking fun at Trek while really understanding what makes it work. It's been both funny and good Trek.
This episode officially confirmed that The Freemans are still married. Also confirmed that The Freemans haven't been doing it much.
T'lyn centric episode! Very good! 👍
I agree with Mariner on this one because Ty'lan's previous Captain Soko is an idiot and ungreatful towards her after Ty'lan was the one who saved the crew and then kicked her off the ship for being different .
Well done
I agree. This episode knocked it out of the park.
I know T-Lin is based on Trek writer who cosplayed the character at conventions before she appeared here. Did you know that back in the mid 2000's there was a series of Star Trek Fanfiction where T-Lin was the daughter of Jonathon Archer AND T-Pol from Enterprise!!!! ;-) That was an amazing coincidence right!
I hope this T-Lin is T-Pol's Granddaughter explored in a future Episode!
1:59 I don't think so. Badgey would be way more violent, AGIMUS would need to stop and brag before he destroyed anything, and Peanut Hamper would probably be sharing everything on the Exocomp equivalent of social media solely to tick off her dad. Plus, the Klingons detected a single life sign on board the ship. All in all, this feels like something else to me.
DAMN.DAMN..DAMN… I Love Lower Decks! “yes” There, have been episodes over the past four seasons. That have been “less than”! But this episode wasn’t one of them. The further character building and crew friendships forming. Just made for an awesome episode! Also….. I alway love seeing a Batazoid or two every now and then!
Love you Crew of Trek Central.!.!.!.🖖🏼
What makes those folding chairs "folding chairs of the future"? Why, they put the Federation logo on them, of course.
Hi ctp. Jack... I really enjoyed this episode
Now we that the Betazoids have a fever verison of Vulcan's Bendii Syndrome.
That was established in a DS9 episode.
@@brucechmiel7964 Which episode and season that of DS9 established this?
@@screwyoureviews9924 the episode is called “fascinations”. Take a season three of season four. It’s the one where Odo and Troi start a really short relationship.
@@brucechmiel7964 I remember that that episode. Thanks.
Dude, it's going to be ALL THREE AI villains in the season's final story, which will also be a cliff hanger like the Best of Both Worlds. Mark the current Star date 2309.29...
Meh. This feels like something else to me.
It was the best so far
Live long and prosper 🖖
Great Halloween costume lower decks was be like Captain Jack Sparrow with young Captain riker with psi 2000. Virus
Also this adds from the episode: Vulcans are ticking emotion nukes are if the blast won't kill you, the toxicity of both good and evil sides of the Vulcans will! Betazoids have nothing to do with it as their emotional output is closer to microwave radiation, only killing the outer nerves and skin, while Vulcans can ERADICATE your very being even intentionally!
... no, they're not. All we've really established is that there's something weird going on with T'Lyn. We're not sure what yet. Hopefully they'll address it later.
@@Brasswatchmanisn't it established that Vulcans have really strong emotions typically stronger than humans?
That's why they use logic to keep themselves under control. It's not they are emotionless but their dominant philosophy is to work hard to control it.
@@101Mant All that has been established, yes. But projecting emotions onto other people, being "emotion nukes" like OP says? That seems specific to T'Lyn. And Sarek, back in the day.
It's about time this series did a Star Trek Enterprise reference.👍👌
Good Posting man, cant wait to watch.
I bet if T'lyn was V'tosh ka'tur, she would be crying her eyes out about being rejected by her own people.
I really think that this could have been a tribute episode to the actress, who played Tori's Mom.♥️
You mean Majel Barrett?
@@Brasswatchman Yes!
Hell yeah! Its one of the episodes where everyones all fucked up!!🤣🤣🤣🤣 also side question bc theres now a Vulcan on the ship full time.
Dont Vulcans go into an uncontrollable heating phase where they have sex with anybody they can get their hands on once a year?
It should be illegal for these streaming studios to call a "Season" 10 episodes. At minimum it should be 16 to 20 episodes to be called a SEASON!
I'm for the UK, a season is usually 6-8 episodes.
Id much rather they keep the seasons shorter and maintain quality. Shows with long seasons, including Trek, often suffered from lower quality filler episodes.

Formalic? You mean Formulaic.
