Does anyone know if you can use the D75 while charging ? That was a no no with the 74.

How does one utilize the digipeter function?

Good question. There are a few menu options to activate the digipeater option on the new D75 and the older D72. Basically a digipeater is a repeater for digital packets and data that passes to an igate. 73

It is pricy no doubt. I picked up the D74 new a few before being discontinued and glad I did as I grabbed it for 450 and I thought that was breaking the bank. Thanks for watching and 73.

Icom makes a good radio but not for that price. I'll stick with the Baofeng.

I think Baofeng has its place but does not compare to Icom. It’s like riding in a luxury automobile or a skateboard. Both will get you there.
