- Pash or Paash (9 September 1950 - 23 March 1988) was the pen name of Avtar Singh Sandhu, one of the major poets of the Naxalite movement in the Punjabi literature of the 1970s. He was killed by Khalistani extremists on 23 March 1988. His strongly left-wing views were reflected in his poetry.

I believe that the "various centers of power in Pakistan" are made up of the RICH FAMILIES of PAKISTAN . . . Unless these Ultra Rich Pakistani Families pay their fair share of Income Tax, Wealth Tax, Sales Tax there can be no gains made in Pakistan . . . Dr Ejaz I have a great respect for you but I strongly disagree with you the way you interpret Khalistanies. They were the true protector of Punjab who were fighting to save their identity with Indian State. These so called revolutionary poets stood with the state to kill sikh youth cold blooded.
With all due respect i thinks for Shiv Batalvi you guys need one whole new revised episode on shiv kumar "LUNA"
magnum opus of punjabi literature if you can make a whole episode on just three poems of "Avtar Sandhu". Why not making a new episode on his artwork of luna.
