This crochet sweater cardigan can also be made smaller or bigger by simply changing your hook size and making it in the exact same way with same number of starting chains as this tutorial. 0-3M use 2.5mm hook with #3, dk or 8ply yarn
3-6M use 3mm hook with #3, dk or 8ply yarn
6-9M use 3.5mm hook with #3, dk or 8ply yarn
9-12M I used 4mm hook with #3, dk or 8ply yarn
12-18M use 4.5mm hook with #3, dk or 8ply yarn
2-3Y use 5mm hook with #4, Aran, or 10 ply yarn
4-5Y use 5.5mm hook with #4, Aran, or 10 ply yarn
6-7Y use 6mm hook with #4, Aran, or 10 ply yarn 8-10Y use 6.5mm hook with #4, Aran, or 10 ply yarn

I would use a smaller hook size than what you used for 2-3 yr size. Tension varies so that can affect the final size. Good luck 👍

Try with thicker yarn like a #4, Aran or 10ply and use a 5mm or 5.5mm hook. Let me know how it works out 😉

10ply is for Australians and make it exactly in the same way as this tutorial. You can use Aran or any yarn with thickness of about 4mm. As far as how much yarn, you will definitely need more. Look in the information box to see how much yarn I used so you get an idea since I’m not sure how much you will need for your size.
