Basically the Nimbus is ideal for weddings and the Cumulus for theatrical settings. Good to know that as a wedding DJ i made the right choice for what i need. Both machines are game changers though
How’s it been going ? I’m really debating on getting this, dry ice is too much but this for fog would be amazing
@@samueletheridge6168 I sold my machine a few months ago. I loved it, it just wasn’t selling as much as I had hoped. And more and more places are starting to ban it because it makes the floor wet after use and they don’t like that so I had to. It was taking up space. Out of ten wedding I did last year only 2 wanted it.
The facts it gets bigger and bigger.
Just bought two of them, hopefully they work killer on my Halloween Haunt.
The best car smoke screen for vehicles
C’est super ! Ce qu’on souhaite maintenant c’est du liquide et de la fumée qui ne fait pas sonner les détecteurs de fumée. Raison pour laquelle nous n’en utilisons plus à regrets.
If u take out the hose it’s throws faster and thicker
I would like to know exactly what liquid for smoke do you use please
Thinking Cumulus.
My cumulus on 1% volume and 1% output looks nothing like what’s shown In the video here.
Same problem with mine, I have contacted my supplied & chauvet for a resolution.
I have the nimbus It’s Natural that the machine makes the floor a little bit wet one’s you do this effect ??
I’m having that issue
it might just be condensation. if it’s just under the machine that should be normal
Nimbus takes 4-1/2 gallons of water for standard operation. When I 1st tried mine at home, I had 6 gallons and the water splashed from the nozzle when I was moving the unit because it was too much in there.
At events, I bring a 1 gallon jug & fill it up 4 times from the Venue's kitchen sink. Their hot water is about 130° and that shortens my heat up time to about 25 minutes instead of 55 minutes. Green light ready operating temperature is 170° to 180°. Check out a few of my videos on my Facebook & Instagram pages.
@@louisrodriguezz co2 is not water wtf u talking about
I love it How much do these machines go for
Like 1.3k
Just got one
i have one questions i have the nimbus when i plug the blue plug the the machine shut down meaning it jump the breaker what you suggest to do or can the machine have a defect on the electric side ? let me know thanks
Are you plugging both cords into the same outlet? If not, please make sure the optional blue plug is going into an outlet that can handle the voltage -- and is a separate outlet from the fixed black cord.
HM PRODUCTIONS DJ'S you need conete on 20 ams outle
@@CHAUVETDJ ok will do i guess i was plugging in the same outlet
Does this unit set off fire alarms?
No
If you use the "recommended" LLG fluid, Yes it will. But if you switch to Quick-Disapating Fog Fluid, the Fog will evaporate into the air as it warms up, giving you that Nimbus effect. So no
Nimbus #1 I had both and nimbus way better
To you maybe. lol
what they never tell you about these machines is that for you to see the effect as it appears in these videos you must have 0 air conditioning or 0 fans, if you don't turn them off at the place of your event, the effect is totally lost. for a large room you need literally 2 machines to fill it correctly.
In fact, the presenters do say they have the A/C off in this video.
can you use Dry ice with the cumulus?
i wouldn’t recommend it
Nope!! Fog fluid goes into the container with a small lip. Good luck trying to feed dry ice pellets into a jug designed for a liquid. By the time you did, the whole damn reception would be finished & everyone packed up & leaving. Then how would you get a solid dry ice to flow thru the tube on the container designed for a liquid?
PLEASE DON'T. It will damage the Cumulus. Just use cold Distilled water only.
