Around a year ago I had a parcel sent from abroad and it was delivered to a stranger in London…. 50 miles away, no refund, nothing. This is why I always pick my movies up in store (whenever possible) I don’t trust the postal service 🤬

All kino lorbers blu rays are region a locked
Here in the netherlands amazon orders are delivered by DHL.. and we have much similar things here. Last saturday Dhl said they deliverd 2 mailbox envelops. One 4k matinee and the other 4k Kudo and the two strings... but they were not deliverd. Dhl does investigate it, they say. Amazon US did give me replacements.. ( hopefully those will arrive)

You never seem to have much luck with steelbooks recently. My copy arrived in perfect condition, no dents no closing issues and it came in a bubble mailer. Just so you know it’s not been to the cinema in the UK yet as it is released on the 25th July over here Paul.
I’ve had many problems with steelbooks over the years, Zavvi used to be the worst, now it’s Amazon.
Silly amazon its happened to me in the past i ordered a bootleg falcon and the winter soldier dvd it was delivered by royal mail i thought what i went home it wasn't there so i looked at the photo again my house door is 9 and they delivered my package to number 1 on my street it was very lucky they didn't shove it right through the letter box because if they did i would have had some trouble because nobody lives at number 1 anymore it seems like a haunted house very scary but i just got it out of the letter box this was 2022 by the way and thats so insane what happened to your package 4 miles these people need to look at the address and street properly because some of these people are idiots 💯🙏
I know the feeling. I always have to deal with Amazon here in the US. I’ve had ordered packages and sometimes all they send me is a empty envelope or if I order a CD (Yes I still order physical CDs) and what happened they put a heavy TV box set right on top and smashes the cases. One time I was out running some errands and what do I see…: A Amazon driver driving the vehicle with the sliding door open (How difficult is it to shut a Van door)
I never order Amazon US again, but it's shame US have more better steelbooks release than UK and Kino, scream factory, shout factory titles release.

My copy of Ungentlemanly Warfare steelbook also had the closing issue. If you didn’t order the gift bag option, that steelbook would have been shipped in a bubble bag. We don’t have the cardboard mailers like Amazon UK has. How much is it costing you to send back the dented steelbook? For me to send to the UK from the US is over $60.

That's a shame Pauly the steelbook is dented in two places but good they are sending a replacement copy though. Strange how it got delivered 4 miles away from you they don't know what they are doing it sounds like. Turbulence is a great thriller and The MInistry of Ungentlemanly Warfare I have never heard about before but will have to check it out.

I've got a region-free Blu-ray player but won't play them, lol. Still plays DVDs.
I have a 4k player that’s not region free. Plus a Blu-ray player that’s region free. I played it on the Region B 4k player to see if it would play.
You finish up by saying _"Don't order from overseas unless you know they'll be well protected"_ but in fact, protection would have made no difference since you say yourself it must have been damaged at the factory before the plastic sleeve went on.
I usually order from Wow if they have it (but too often they don't) because they're usually significantly cheaper.
I know Amazon US sends everything, including steelbooks, in very poor packaging; all to often a bubble envelope BUT in my *personal* experience I've never had one damaged... I think I'm pretty lucky on this front because I've never had a single Zavvi steel damaged _in the post_ either yet I hear other people have at least 1 in 3 turn up with damage!
If only I was as lucky on the lottery!
Production damage to steelbooks, for me, is much more coomon than damage in the post. I have had a couple that don't quite align and close properly plus are a bit flimsy... I don't know why some aren't made as well; presumably different factories and/or bad luck
FWIW (maybe it's just because I'm interested in WW2) I am well aware of Churchill's quite famous, I thought, involvement in the formation of the S.A.S or at least their forerunners. In fact the 'recent' S.A.S TV miniseries tells the story.
Yes in general if you’re buying a steelbook from overseas I would only do it if I knew it was gonna be well protected. In this case however, looks like the damage is as caused at the factory.
It looks like your Ungentlemanly Warfare steelbooks ran into a bit of Turbulence, you should send it back to an address 4 miles away from the return address
