Why did bro drop the Hard R
@16:52....dude said that with such ease.
Had to rewind when I heard it. I was like ain't no way he did that without hesitation. Then I thought maybe he was just quoting him. Nope. Lmao
@@wanderinggrizzly7434 buddy missing a few front teeth....might lose the rest if he keeps it up
@retro mario eh I'm already over it. It's just a word, a disgusting word, but still just a word. Plus he obviously doesn't look like he lives a clean or comfortable life, so that makes me feel a little better about it lol.
@Wandering Grizzly I'm not phased by it...just saying other folks aren't as passive...but I agree...lol
@retro mario That's what I was thinking, if he's that comfortable saying on camera then odds are he's gonna say it to the wrong person one day. Street justice gives me peace
Serial killers have been around since the beginning of humans. We're just better at recognizing them, now.
A lot harder to hide murders these days.
Not the historian straight up dropping the N word casually bro
Rappers have said worse than that. But we won't mention that, will we?
@@JayCity10 thank you, tired of double standards
Billy was a gunslinger not a serial killer
Jesse James is in my family lineage so I found this amazingly narrated and so interesting, well narrated!
I have Billy the Kid on one side of my family and Wild Bill Hickok on the other...
@@21cranberries21same. But mine has hickok45...I don't know if that's good enough
If you are it aren't related to Jesse James or any of these characters what does that have to do with finding it inter. It's interesting because of the subject either way. Because Jesse James is your 9th cousin shouldn't add to it lol.
Proof??@@21cranberries21
Proof?
During the civil war, many of those Kentucky raiders pillaged, raided and terrorized the very communities they were from. Communities that were mostly defended by a home guard made up of underaged boys ineligible to join the union army and were armed with hunting muskets. I have plenty family members who were murdered, robbed and terrorized by raiders. I also have a great great grandfather who joined the raiders. Oddly, all of his sons joined the union army. I am sad about the way my gg grandfather died (dysentery in a union prison) but he chose his destiny.
Based on what I know, if a raider survived, they went west because they could not go home after what they had done. Most were not psychopaths so lived quiet normal lives. Community members who went off to join the actual confederate army had a different experience. Most appeared to have been accepted back into their communities. That’s not to say my Family’s community was normal after the war. there was a lot of PTSD. There was violence. Petty squabbles led to stabbings and shootouts, with someone inevitably dying. One highly respected community member, a doctor, took revenge after the war for the death of his son. The son was a raider who died during a shoot out with the home-guard. The father built a bomb and hid it in a lunch basket. His intended victims were maimed, but survived. According to the story, the father was horribly injured and it took days for him to die. 😮
It takes at least 3 kills with time in between kills to be considered a serial killer, not 2 kills as this video mentions.
I would also say they should add that the only known motive for the murders just being an enjoyment of killing. Jessie James and Billy the Kid shouldn't be categorized with Zodiac, or Ted Bundy
Now they made it 2 in the new FBI profiler outline.
Love this video and I know ut took alot of time and reasurch to put all this together. I give this video two 👍👍 up. I joined your channel. 😊
Billy and Jessie lived in a different time I would not categorise them as serial killers , killers certainly but men of a very violent time .
exactly you get it, how can they categorise them with people like ted bundy??? come on. Disrespectful.
It's 3 or more kills...not "2 or more"....3 minutes in and they lose all integrity. 🤦♂️
There is no one single threshold agreed upon for the definition of serial killer. Some say 3, some say 4, some say at least 2 or more.
No john douglas and Robert resller both said 2 or more those are the guys that pioneered the behavioral science unit at Quantico. Robert resller coined the term serial killer. John douglas said it's 2 or more killings that make a serial killer. The first one is always if not an accident the second definite serial killer if it has similarities to the first. TRUST ME and my uncle didn't like it either. We thought it should be more that kinda helps but maybe classification has changed over the years.
My brother is a policeman I asked him about this he said it used to be three, now it’s two . And I was like but two is just a double murderer 🤷♀️
Lol i thought the same
Red Dead Redemption II
Well played. You made mr re-think the history. Truth is stranger than fiction indeed. --Bob Bailey
Almost none of those people were serial killers this is a real stretch. This is like saying a Gangland shooting is a mass shooting because more than two people died
🎯
There's a difference in serial killing and just killing. Serial killers are compelled to kill, they get great pleasure from it. Its much different than say killing in war or in a situation where it's necessary or somewhat normal in everyday life.
This should’ve been titled violent killers or notable outlaws of the Wild West saying some of these were serial killers just isn’t true

Heyyyyy it’s my twice great uncle John Wesley Hardin😁😁😁😁.
there was a killer in my family an unknown one only he was found in self defense. But taking a life is taking a life no matter how, and sometimes its needed to save others.
Tom horn didn't tell cattle rustlers to stop stealing cattle he just simply killed them! A dead man can't steal cows! I think tom horn loved to hunt and kill men like people like to hunt deer!
So this is true crime centrel

@Wandering Grizzly that was the outlaw. Bob is an "expert" thay hired to tell a story
@Steven Davis He wasn't quoting anything, or at least he wasn't obviously reading a quote. That's all, caught off guard by the lack of hesitation.
Serial killers go back centuries lets be realistic it..
I just came here to see how many people claim to be related to these outlaws.
Serial killers have been since the beginning of time it's a human thing an I believe it's inherently in us all although slowly being bred out of us (thank god) but it was in us from the get go 🙏
Wtf….
Normal ppl don’t just inherently have the urge to kill lol
Around as long as bad mothers.
@@Aluminata good or bad motherhood is a social construct, it literally takes a village (or tribe) to raise a child, since hunter-gatherer times.
Idk if there has Always been serial killers But I do know that the news anymore is Full of people who are willing to kill, even their own children. Horribleness abounds!
Check out Julia Lonergan Rodriguez (The Secret Life of Billy the Kid ) Billy was a woman.
The Ingalls family lived south of the Benders during their time in Kansas, and Laura stated once, when she was asked if she'd left anything out of her books, that Pa Ingalls rode in the search posse. The timing isn't right, the Ingalls had already moved out of the area prior to the discovery of the bodies, but that said, both families did live there at the same time. Crazy, right?
I wonder sometimes if the Benders actually got away or the posse caught up to them and hung um on the spot and told everyone that they got away. An old man and woman a young woman and man in a wagon should have been easy to track
If you’re interested there’s an update on the Bender story . Some bloke has bought the land recently, and he’s looking to do some investigations. There was a video on yt I saw a few months back with drone footage of the land, and the guy flying the drone was talking to the guy who now owns the land
@@tracymurray9798I really, really doubt that. They would want everyone to know, mostly as a deterrent to would-be killers, and also to give some relief to the people of the area. Another reason could be related to reward money or refuting others’ claims for potential reward money.
How did you find all this out ?
Is this a serious question? If so then news papers, journals and written letters from friends and family of these guys along with court documents and official records
Bruh
Pure ignorance. Billy the kid, Jesse James, John westly were not serial killers. There is very specific criteria that makes someone a serial killer. People don't understand what a serial killer is. Just because someone kills multiple people doesn't make them a serial killer.
might want to delete this comment, serial killer means you killed 3 or more at different times and not with in 1 month time frame. They all fit that definition so they are in fact serial killers. Ironic calling someone ignorant and then turning out to be the ignorant one.
@@ImakebootysclapIt’s actually 2 or more murders, with some kind of “cooling off” period between kills.
I would not put Liver Eating Johnson, Billy The Kid, or Wyat Earp in the category of serial killers. I think it would be a good idea, for someone to know history, before making such a statement. Liver Eating Johnson got the name from supposedly taking a bite of the liver of the Indians he killed, and spitting it out, this may seem to be an indication of cannibalism, but that was not the intent. He, knowing, the thinking of the particular tribe, did this to say, basically I hate your guts. It was done as an insult, not an act of cannibalism, I'm not saying it was in anyway good, but it was not meant for fun or some sick sadistic thrill either. Later on if I remember my history correctly he was even adopted into that tribe.
Tom Horn was hired to end rustling, he ended up killing the wrong person. Wyat Earp was a lawman, going after outlaws. To my knowledge there are no records of Billy the Kid killing twenty-one men, nor do I think he enjoyed killing, if he did he sure passed up some good opportunities.
John Wesley Hardin, and Jessie James, may be a closer fit, but I really don't think they where serial killers either. Certainly no zodiac killers, or a Ted Bundy.
Billy wasnt a serial killer , he was a killer killer.
Their not telling the whole truth in this show
loved how they had to mention race like I really dont care what skin color or what country they are from its what they did that matters
Have you ever thought stories and Hollywood might of made them this way to ,TO BE FAMOUS

Wild west is a Hollywood creation. Non of that stuff even makes scenes.
How you gonna start off with some bullshit lol
Um Billy was no serial killer. The men in the Santa Fe ring were the true killers.
Dude called Mexicans Greasers then realized he messed up tf
Serial killers kill people that they don't no or maybe they do no but they just kill because it pleases them in some way . Killing 3 human beings doesn't make you a serial killer! I worked with an older guy in the early 80s who was in Vietnam he said he killed at least 50 that he knew he killed. Was he a serial killer or soldier?
Billy kid was part of cattle war and and he was a supporter of the Hispanic and Spanish family that were being forced out of there land I have read some of his letters the were very informative remember history is written by the winner's even in the small cattle wars. No I don't believe he was serial killer he was fighting for his country my dad was a sharp shooter took lives.
I'm nearly speechless you're comparing the two. 😳
There were horrific action taken with the cattle wars and fight for land it was war on the family of who owned this lands some native American and Hispanic and just small cattle land owners who had land these ruthless people wanted. There the other outlaws my grandfather was strong hand and bootlegger for mob in Nevada he was born in 1905 he got on bad side of law killed some people is what us grandkids were told he had to change the spelling of his name he was loved by his family married and raised 7 children was small town guy who every one liked until his death and family arrived we never new and handed us information on are family. But you never now what causes these guys do what they did.
@@natashamurphy9736 the land and cattle wars were about money and power .but I'm sure some that were involved liked the fighting and killing
@@natashamurphy9736 all down through history human beings have been taking things from other people and it was normally by force with violence and killing. Just like here in america the native americans didn't just give all their stuff to us it was gonna happen regardless of who got here first and before we got here they were killing torturing and taking from different tribes ugly but true
The kid was not a serial killer
Too many stories of Billie the kid death. I don’t believe this one
I do not think Billy or Jesse where serial killers, killers yes, but most of the deaths happen in gun fights.
Yeah psychos not serial killers. Also they described Billy the kid as handsome in this video . I’ve googled some images and In the words of Oprah “whaaaaaat?” Handsome lol

boy, this is a stretch. anything for views/content.
Opening sequence when stated American serial killers, you have non Americans on the image
Why are these killer's remembered and no remembers the innocent ,Just the guilty and killer's are remembered such unjust history
Sadly, the US never outgrew the Wild West, + still to this day, guns are prevalent in society, in spite of there being no credible reasons, none at all, that justify this being so.
Crime + violence, is all that guns bring to America, nothing remotely positive, the true result of guns in America is ignored for the most part because it's an ugly, inconvenient truth , that people don't want to hear.
The truth is, however, there really is no amount of vi9olence that America can't just ignore, safe in the knowledge absolutely nothing will be done to prevent something similar happening again.
And that's how it is, kids getting shot at school, for example, only in the US is it considered acceptable + has it been allowed to become more + more common........... Australia, Britain, they've literally eradicated the problem, kids getting shot whilst attending school, doesn't sit well with them...........
America loves its guns, it can't justify them, but never mind about that............. they don't................
Are you serious? Um has a ton of stabbings and murders it’s just not recorded as gun violence, May I ask do you believe before guns there was no wars? No violence? Tools change but mans heart doesn’t.
Billy the Kid wasn’t a serial killer
