- I ride from Downtown Brooklyn to Astoria, Queens via the Brooklyn Waterfront, Pulaski Bridge, and 21st Street. It was a bit more active than usual along this route, and it was nice to see the Williamsburg waterfront coming back to life.

Sometimes from the perspective as a viewer some points in the ride seem dangerous, especially going through red lights. Is that common in NY?
@@phillp7777 it isnt a big deal...bikers do it so much, any new yorker knows that. Doesn't matter if ur on a bike or scooter, just use common sense and don't be a idiot, then there r certain bike rules u don't have to follow. The even bigger problems is so many pedestrians don't look, i would bet u more than half those accidents were pedestrians not looking and automatically blamed on cyclists because there's no proof. u would know if u rode a bike or anything similar.
It can seem that way if you're not used to seeing it.
I live in Brooklyn how much total range you get on that in miles?

I could try looking at the cable tension. The squeaking doesn't affect the functionality of the scooter though.

Kenneth, please grease those brakes… the squealing is really loud when you apply the brakes on that new scooter. Love your videos otherwise….😀
It might have to do with the tension on the cables. The squeaking on the disc brakes don't affect the functionality of the scooter though.
@@ActionKid yes, I understand, however the squealing of the brakes was too much in this video we had to stop watching and we really hated to do that since we love your videos. Maybe you can take it to the scooter shop where you bought it and let them look at it. Others have made comments as well so I know it’s not just us… Thanks for replying… John 😀

Hey AK, if your going to complain about people not obeying the rules of the road you should do the same. I see you taking red light after red light. You could hurt someone.
Yes, I could hurt someone but I don't. In NYC, it's common practice and the social norm for cyclists and scooter riders to go through red lights if there is no risk of a collision.
