Today, I'm going to show you how to make one of the best Korean BBQ recipes - this is marinated pork! In Korean, its called Yangnyeom Dwaeji Galbi (양념돼지갈비). You can use pork ribs meat or a pork collar cut (aka boston butt cut). In Korea, this is one of the most popular pork cuts to eat at BBQ restaurants. I'll show you how to nail that exact restaurant flavor with a few key ingredients.

Had to pause the video because I was laughing too hard at "grease pee pee" :')
I thought I was the only one 😂
OMG YES! My lungsssss ahhh XD
This looks delicious, I’ve really loved the pork galbi trend lately, I never thought it could be so good! Thanks for all you and Katie have done to make quarantine more fun. Will definitely recommend your channel to friends and family
Daniel, you may not know this, but here in the South (USA) many people slow-cook pork shoulder/butt in Coca-Cola. People laugh at it and think it's just trash, but it's actually delicious. The next time I do it, I think I'll add some of your Korean ingredients.
Hi ... Carnitas also are made with Coca Cola in Mexico yummy
Dr. Pepper is a thing as well!
We have cola chicken in chinese cusine
Thank you so much my son wants eat this tomorrow so I an going to store now.

Omg... thankfully I was eating when I watched this video 😂😂 it looks sooo good!
That looks delicious
😍 gonna try this!!
Finally, I should invest in a table-top grill and host a Korean BBQ Party. This recipe looks scrumptious! 🤤
You guys soooo great 👍, thanks for sharing it.
Made this today and it was great! Thanks for sharing! Used leftover wasabi from takeout instead of the mustard 😜
와!!맛있겠다!!
This looks so good. Soft drinks are really good for cooking and marinading. We use Sprite a lot here in the Philippines, I even know some people who uses beer in their bbqs
이정도 요리 하시는 분 이면 가게를 하나 오픈하시면 대박일 거 같은데, your yummy recipe always delivers 🔥🔥
I followed this recipe and didn’t have hot mustard and korean pear. So I used apple and wasabi. It tasted sooo good! So happy with this recipe.
I made that pork belly marinade. I don't think I have ever tasted BBQ that delicious. Due to my disappointment in marinades I'm the kind of person that likes to grill raw meat and just season it with salt at the half point. But this?! It blew my mind, the girl that wont eat anything close to lard devoured this like a little monster she is. Absolutely fantastic, thank you Future Neighbor for gracing us with this amazing recipe.
Holy smokes that looks like it taste delicious. Thank you for the recipe, I’ll use it someday. Right now I’m just using CJ korean marinade for chicken and pork.
Looks Delicious. 🤩🤩🤩
Definitely trying it out this Sunday. Love from Assam, India
💖💖💖
Looks good man!! Cheers! 🍻
Thanks for the tip👍
daniel!! this looks so delicious 😋 i need to get something better to cook bbq with then i will totally try this out.
I decided to subscribe because you explain things really clearly, even for who doesn't speak english as a first language. New subscriber from italy 🇮🇹🙋🏻♂️
When the quarantine restrictions are lifted in South Korea (who knows when?), we will visit. We've done an eating tour of Koreatown, Los Angeles, but can not wait to devour our way through Korea. This recipe takes me there, brother. Thanks!
Um yeah I gotta try this 🤤
Thank you for sharing I'm so hungry by looking at it 🤣
Just had some Korean bbq at home yesterday. Such a pity.. But I'm going to try this the upcoming week 😍😁
ohhh looks so good! I will for sure try this! And I will start a new game: always one shot when you say "oh my goodness" :D :D take care!!
I wish you made video that take time because OH MY GODDESS
I tried this recipe and it was really good! Felt like im in korea 😋
I have tasted this in a restaurant....but now I am gonna try it at home...hope it goes well..
Thanka for the share
Just made this today it’s soooo good. I didn’t have Coca Cola here so I used sparkling water and a kiwi. Still so delicious, really amazing. We had it with lettuce and chili peppers and rice and kimchi and made ssam and really enjoyed it. Will make again!
Still laughing at the "grease peepee" I use Coke for a pork chop marinade, works wonderfully.
made me giggle for the rest of the video
I'm vegetarian, but still watching for the good vibes.
Idk if he mentions this in the vid but I heard you can sub meat with different types of mushrooms 🍄 😋
@@kirsten9729 I absolutly can't stand mushrooms, but I wish I could since it is often sugested as a substitute. But I often go with tofu insted.
@@peppermint1358 Ah totally understand! That's me with tomatoes!
@@kirsten9729 same haha 😅
What about Tofu... we make our own that is soooo firm its like meat...
Omg this looks way too good... do you have any recommendations when it comes to side-dishes or is this piece of heaven best eaten with just rice?
We ate it with some rice & jalapenos on the side heh (we're out of kimchi!)
We eat it with cabbage kimchi and I also make cucumber kimchi. You really don’t need much else. This is a really good recipe that I’ve tried before. Need to get some pork and make it again.
I’m imagining a Korean taco variation, with jalapeños, cucumber kimchi, pickled onions, maybe some lettuce?
Good morning from Mauritius🙂This looks very tasty 고맙습니다!
Hi Daniel, I am from Singapore. I tried your recipe and it taste awesome! This recipe is definitely a keeper! Thanks for the simple to follow recipe!
Hi Lynn, I am fr Singapore too. Would you mind sharing if his soy sauce refers to dark or light soy sauce? Thanks :)
@@bellebelle4568 light soy sauce :)
@@lynnlee3620 Thanks :)
@6:40 😆😂🤣😆😂🤣 &
꼬까꼴라 🤣🤣
Definitely will try it this weekend!
Thanks always🙏
I love Korean bbq but I've never made it at home. I'm going to try this. It looks absolutely delicious.
I wonder if this would work with chicken?
You’re funny. Brought smile on my face....
Wow, looks delicious! Can I use this recipe for chicken?
OMG This is kinda legit pork galbi🤤🤤🤤
You are so pleasant and funny! I love watching you, 😆
Now I'm craving Korean BBQ.
Come back to this video so you can crave it some more.
This looks great! Nice to know I don't have to struggle for nice cuts of pork ribs to do this.
Will make this in two weeks.
It also killed me a bit when the beautiful green was destroyed lol.
오마이갓... 저거면 밥 7공기 먹을 수 있습니다
Notiiiiiifsquaaaad! Hey Neighbor!
I did pork bbq by this recipe. It was really nice. Thanks. PS. I didn't have the yellow mustards.
Now I'm hungry.
Can you substitute the pork with beef? And what cut would be comparable?
wow
im from kurdistan i love everything of korea ❤️
나는 한국의 모든 것을 사랑 쿠르드스탄에서 메신저❤️
Amen,Amen and Amen brother!!!! 🔥🔥🔥you just brought heaven to earth uuffff
How do you feel about doing this over direct heat e.g. an american style grill? I know it is not the traditional KBBQ at the table experience, but would the product be good?
That looks amazing but would you not have any banchan with it?
“THE GREASE PEEPEE” 😂😭💀💀💀
can you use this same marinade for beef?
Hi can you make video how to prepare the pork before i cook it as sam gyeop sal? i prepare it at home but the taste is not as tasty as in Korea
What could I use as substitute for cola?
Pears like that are called nashi pears in my area, are those two the same?
HEY DANIEL IT IS MY EARLIEST TODAY JUST BEEN 11 MINUTES !!! BTW THAT LOOKS SO YUM I MEAN AFTER WATCHING THIS I NEED TO GO AND GRAB SOMETHING TO EAT BECAUSE I CAN'T COOK AS GOOD AS YOU CAN!! HOPEFULLY ONE DAY. LOVE LOVE.
EDIT: CAN YOU INCREASE THE AMOUNT A LITTLE BIT AND GIVE ME SOME AS YOUR NEIGHBOR I DID LOVE THAT!
Amen!
Made this today.. the taste is really good so thank you! However, I was using a pan on the stove and the sauce burned quite a bit. Do you have instructions on how I can cook on the stove top without burning?
Tent the meat on a baking tray then bake until internal temp is 150F (65C). Then remove, shake juices loose, rest for 10 minutes then sear for 30 seconds on a hot pan.
Can we do the same with fish? And what kind?
but can we talk about that rice too? dam it looks light and fluffy soft
can u do more vegatarian things thanku❤🥰🥰🥰
Anyone know if i can make this with beef instead of pork?
Her: Ohh I thought u just Opened a BbQ Restaurant.. hahaha Lmfao Makes me laugh 😂
Hi, first of all.. I would like to say.. I'm a big fan of Korean food.. really love checking out the videos and trying them. But I'm more of a spicy 🔥 food person. I like my food & Barbequed dishes spicy.
-So if you could share a recipe which I could use to make a spicy version of the same dish.
-Could you also suggest an alternate option to Coco Cola as a tenderizer.
Near Sogang University there is a place called Mapo Ssambap, that has been the most delicious pork I have ever had. Could you please do your take on that recipe 😭😭. Thank you.
What could replace the pear with if you can't eat pears or apples?
Really wish you guys were my next door neighbor 🙃😂
7:38 "I'm gonna put a little paper cup.. to catch the grease peepee--"
Looks delicious. Wondering if I can exchange cola for ginger beer or can any type of cola be used?
At least in USA colas all taste the same. I don't recommend the ginger beer. If you do I suggest less ginger in the initial green mixture.
Amen!!
What can I use to replace cocacola
What kind of grill is that?
Amen🍻🍻🍻😁👍
Could you do this with pork belly ?
9:04 WAAaah
I've said it before and I'll say it again, you guys NEED to open a restaurant.
사랑해❤️
can I use beef instead?
12 hours later??? Oh my! That’s serious planning! Don’t u have another recipe with less planning? 😊
The tenderizing agent in coke is phosphoric acid which also will remove rust from steel.
If I could get this,I’m all about it. I’m two hours away from the nearest store,up the motorway, but we have each individually been in lockdown,am too nervous to drive and I can’t get anybody to take me,even with a generous payment.
Oh,and also can’t get it delivered. Ambient products only 🙄
This looks so amazing. Excellent cooking demonstration 👌🙌
I have got a few pictures of some of the korean food I’ve cooked. I will hit u up on fb.slightly different surname and when you read it and think who,it’s a yes !!
Not my finest presentation though, just to consider lol. I made korean chicken soup again last evening with udon but did not take a pic on that occasion. See you over there. Right now in fact lol 🥰🙏🏻
Any meat would work... even wild game... 👍
Chaty I saw your video bout Gdragon go viral.. I’m so envy on you I wish I can meet him ...
I know nobody may ever see this comment, but: is there any reason we couldn't throw garlic cloves into the blender with the other aromatics?
This recipe looks fantastic, I cannot WAIT to give it a try
