      They wanted McDonald to take the last shot but Stanford knew She was getting the ball. They triple teamed her and she had like at least two teammates open for a better shot

    The best option was to pass the ball to the player in the right corner who was open.

    The pac 12 conference will be even more competitive next year if you can believe that! The talent from so many teams will be so much fun to watch. I will pay extra money to watch the women's game.

      @@randyacuna3248 I like the Stanford women’s Volleyball team (and most of Stanford sports in general, I’m just a fan because my great grandmother went there and graduated in 1935) and what they’re able to do season in and season out. Just domination is what that team is doing.

      @@zaynes5094 yes , volleyball is fun to watch, Washington went to the final 4 but lost. I became a Stanford fan when the were still called the Indians especially when the football team led by Jim Plunkett beat number 1 ohio state in the 1971 rose bowl, I followed Stanford sports, now I pull for all pac 12 teams especially women's basketball.

      @@randyacuna3248 I became a Stanford football fan when Andrew Luck led a 16-point comeback in 2010 and it was against Arizona State. That next following season would be the one where Stanford would win the first of 4 conference titles under the current head coach (but then new) David Shaw. Also, I can see why you’d like women’s basketball. They’re talented, athletic, (and many of them) gorgeous.

      @@zaynes5094 the whole women's basketball conference is fun to watch, the surprise is Washington state with a super freshman who almost led the league in scoring except McDonald scored more points in the last game of the season to take the scoring title. If it wasn't for the pandemic, last year Oregon possibly might have been national champs giving the pac 12 back to back champs.

    I just think that the coach at AZ got out coached. The last play should’ve been some screens to give her a wide open shot. Everyone was standing still. She didn’t have to go for the three, a two would’ve won the game.

      bad execution on last play. but c'mon, outcoached? they lost by 1. I'm sure they wanted #2 to drive but there was a literal WALL of 4 Stanford players, and she was trapped so she just had to heave it.

      It’s not the coach fault McDonald didn’t pass it’s was a great play that had 2 players wide open it’s her choice if she wants to execute

    The ball is tipped, and here you are;
    You're running for your life, you're a shooting star.
    And all the years, no one knows;
    Just how hard you worked, but now it shows.
    In One Shining Moment, you reach deep inside;
    One Shining Moment, you knew you'd come alive.
    Feel the beat of your heart, and the wind in your face;
    It's more than a contest, it's more than a race.
    And when it's done, win or lose;
    You always did your best, 'cause inside you knew.
    That One Shining Moment, you reach for the sky;
    One Shining Moment, you knew.
    One Shining Moment, you're willing to try;
    One Shining Moment, you knew.
    One Shining Moment....
    Congratulations, Stanford Lady Cardinals. Win it again next year!
