Absolutely incredible reviews! It doesn’t get any better. Would love to see more like these.
Sometimes more money doesn’t equal better product, at all.
The price/performance curve seems to flatten out at around $100. Yes, there are niche formulations and exotic accords way above that price level, but you pretty much have to factor economies of scale into the price of something with intrinsically niche appeal. There are plenty of fragrances to be had for under $30 that will have you the best smelling guy in pretty much any room.
Hey Ash , great review and I like your honesty and have a wonderful weekend peace
Hey Ash! Seriously enjoy this new idea 👍 hope you do more of these. If possible maybe some input on By Kilian
I'd like to see a blind test, no house or perfume name neither price... I believe it would be an interesting experiment
Great sample haul , you might want to try Spirit of Dubai, amazing fragrances, Meydan is the best wearable leather ever .
Love Lune Féline-Atelier des Ors!
that guy thats in the comments always saying hes going to try every fragrance in ashs videos is real quiet on this one.... lol
Jon Ritchey I wonder if he’s really tried them all.
@@biggboi1967 super doubtful
mr bullock the robot? lol
It's Kyuu 😂😂
@@itskyyuuuu yes and I hope he shows up and I like his posts and have a blessed day
Lune Feline is so gorgeous! I would have never knew about this gem if it wasn't gifted to me for my birthday by my mom three years ago. one of my favorite vanilla scents for sure. I hear Alexandria has a very accurate clone called moonstruck. I May have to get my nose on that one and eventually purchase one so I can preserve my precious Lune Feline lol
Edward wants to be apart of the videos too! 😂😂😂😂
The Le Labo you mentioned are from the city exclusive line and that’s why they are more expensive (you cannot get there here anymore after September or wait until next September). Le Labo regular line are more reasonable priced.
Just sold my house so I could buy a couple of these.
I own them all minus Pure Accord and Magnetic and my favorite is Absolute, Le Parfum, Private Accord, Intense then the Original in that order. I can't wait to get my hands on the new Magnetic.
Hi my friend , can you do a review about the Armani code line and the best flankers (old and new) is my favourite line 😁
My guy checking out some of my favourites, yay! Great stuff as always. Poivre 23 and Uden OD FTW! =]
Would like you to review le labo more? Especially bergamot
Gents can pls do a review on jo malone oud and bergamont intense and any similar clones thnx
I don’t mind paying for quality, but I wouldn’t pay a lot of money for the sake of it. I feel the Xerjoff’s are generally priced pretty fairly.
I totally agree. It's the Le Labo's that slay me.
Schatje79 have u tried poivre 23? That stuff is great
The 17/17 collection goes for $650 for 100ml lol
To me Is the best house,
@@tonyvega7268xerjoff is by far the best niche house in my opinion
Hey Ash, what is your favorite fall/winter fragrance from bond no.9
Bond no.9 has nasty synthetic opening.
That Blue Jay (Edward) really likes those fragrances. Maybe not that 700 dollar one though. That is freakin bonkers, man. Inspired by Atlantis? Maybe just buy the Cool Water Aquaman Collectors Edition. 👍 Be well Ash!
Please review the dunhill signature collection...
Hey Ash, jeremy mentioned you on his German channel on the First spot, which youtubers he watches. Just an Info😎
Thanks for sharing your logical thoughts. Fragrances should be tagged with price point at which everyone can enjoy and also people can buy them again again rather purchasing them once (most people won’t go for buying 300/400 dollars fragrances again and again, that is almost impossible, unless they are millionaires and celebrities (although I hardly see even top business class people wearing Chanel or similar brands).
A high end fragrance should perform like level alluring that everyone will be mesmerised. As each and every spray counts money
Exactly
idk xerjoff makes amazing stuff, i absolutely buy them again and again and i make average pay, im not saying spend all your money on a fragrance but for me i can spend my entire 1 weeks worth of a check get a 50ml bottle that last like 6 months or longer and eat/pay bills the next week. so yea if you really like a fragrance and it has quality hou absolutely will buy again
Hi Michael Bullock. Ist time hearing about you. Cheers !
I don’t find Le Labo fragrances worth the price and they don’t smell niche quality to me. It might be just me, idk.
Ash looking fresh
Actually at least with xerjoff fragrances" there's lot's of places I've bought them dis-count price" especially for some reason Canadian sellers and websites lol
@Demon Marauder I've bought from a Canadian seller multiple time's and his stuff is a 100 percent authentic! I own several bottles of xerjoff that I've purchased directly from them so I definitely know what's authentic

Reflection man review please
Edward's the best troll!
Dua clone for Vanille 44 smells almost identical.
No perfume is worth more than $200 and that's stretching it!!
For 100ml i agree. Such a waste!!!
so far the most money I've spent on a single bottle of perfume is 140 dollars. For a discounted Imitation Man
I just got roja dove Qatar for $529 is not worth it is a Skin scent , a big mistake, today
@@tonyvega7268 wow that must've been insulting
I wonder who the better troll is: Edward or Serapio?
Uden overdose is Boss Bottled
can anyone tell me diptyque name that resembles vanille 44 ? i cant find / guess it
Eau Duelle
@@lalchimiste9717 thankyou !
Eau Duelle is the one he mentioned in the video. There is an EDT version and an EDP version.
Where can I get samples like these?

1-10. Edward
My limit is £280 tops for any frag
Try to get the best value at least
Some are worth it...
It's an interesting question considering how most of us look for deals , on discounters etc.
How many scents do we really think are just worth the money 🍀
Of my niche, PDM Carlisle seems most worth the 💶. It's strong, it lasts, it's high quality, it's unique, it's a great fragrance. 280 for 125ml? Yeah I'm happy to pay for it as I like it that much. 🇮🇪
can you make the best clones for the best designer fragrances? like top 10 best clones frgarances? and all of them are different designer fragrances.
No Issey here!!! LOL
Uhhh what about the almighty ysl *K O U R O U S*
My hard limit is $1.50/ml. Really just keep it to the high end designer world (Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum, Fahrenheit Parfum, Tom Ford Beau de Jour on sale, etc.) It's fun to hear Ash talk about them, but I don't want to go down the niche wormhole. I would like to get Creed Viking, but it's just a little bit too expensive for what it is.
Watch discounters closely, because now and then I'll see an INCREDIBLE deal on Creeds, including Viking. I've seen the 100ml tester for like $170 something. Still over your limit, but maybe you'll get lucky and spot it even cheaper somewhere.
Gilt- the flash sale site- had Creeds heavily discounted last year. 100ml of Silver Mountain Water going for about $120, if I recall. I also recall seeing similar prices on Jomashop.
Le Labo sample atomizers are notoriously TERRIBLE
The ones I got from them don't have an atomizer, I just dab them on the skin
Ash, i insist...!! Smell BLV Pour Homme from Bvlgari and please make a full review!!
“My sample didn’t have gold flakes in it did it?” Lol cool dude
Edward sounds like a blue J .
Molecule 01. Cause sidewalk is what I thin Molecule 01 smells like.
sounds like a manny list to me
worth it IF they are mostly all natural.
Bird Edward translates. Hahahahaha
None of the city exclusive are worth 400 plus
I personal don’t think any fragrance is worth that amount of money.
@@dajuice7030 I'd disagree but to each it's own.
I agree about the city exclusives. If they were the cost of the regular fragrances from Le Labo, there are one or two I might consider. But I like their standard line better anyway.
@@grey7987 the best of the line IMO is Benjoin 19, but if you have Grand Soir, it's pointless
@@equalityfragrances1854 That was my favorite as well, but I enjoy Grand Soir more. It also lasts longer for me. I only got about 6 hours out of Benjoin 19, and it was VERY soft on my skin.
400 yikes. I can purchase 6 solid designer fragrances for the price.
If you have a collection, as it grows, you will find this is a false economy
I was initially firmly in this camp as well, but I changed my mind pretty quickly. I found myself moving on from designer fragrances after wearing them only a few times. Not exactly getting sick of them, because I still think they smell nice. I would find myself having trouble deciding what to wear because nothing was particularly appealing. They just didn't speak to me. With my higher-end/niche fragrances, I have the opposite problem. I have trouble deciding on only one perfume because I want to wear them all every day. I usually end up wearing 3 or 4 perfumes throughout the day because I want to smell them all constantly. I'd rather spend $400 for one or two fragrances I absolutely adore than 6 or 8 that I only kind of like. Of course, there are some exceptions for really phenomenal designer releases, and everybody's taste is different. This is just my personal experience.
@MAGACOP yeah... too much money. 💰
If that’s the case for you I agree. I find that I reach for all sort of fragrances. I have 20 dollar scents from Cremo that do what other 120 designer and niche fragrances do. Most of the time more money is higher quality, but still I would rather enjoy 8 great scents than just one. With all that being said there are plenty excellent designer and cheap scents out there. I suggest you try to get your nose on more of them.
You should change the name of your channel to gents-effervescents
solid pun.
for their quality, Xerjoff is priced correctly
17/17 collection goes for 650 for 100ml
i'm too broke to watch this vid
I remember when I bookmarked a Hublot watch that cost about $8000. I think I was hoping I'd get a 95% off coupon code.
Naah just because its expeensive doesnt mean its worth its like getting a t shirt for 499,90 or underwear for 199,90 but if you got the money do what you gotta do 👍🏼
@Demon Marauder very true . I used to work at Macy's in the men's department. That was when i knew the truth about all these high price designer stuffs . Most are ripoffs!!
@@olakunleolafisoye8433 And it's always the belts and t-shirts that have the highest mark-ups, because they know there are a bunch of 'aspirational' shoppers who want to grab onto the lowest rung of designer clothing!
Firsr
Remember this. Niche does not mean quality.
Xerjoff are a myth imo
whatchu talkin bout willis?
The fragrance snobs will most always give argument on whats best, quality of materials yada yada. Personally, niche frags are a money grab, supported by the social media platforms that most assuredly have something to do with the escalated pricing
Although I have quite a few “niche” frags, most of my compliments come from designers. In fact, I get more compliments from 25-50 dollar frags than my niche. Its a game, a game at which the Perfumers sit back and laugh at the lunacy by which people will shell out mega bucks for A frag that cost a mere bag of shells to produce
The frag industry has done nothing in years other than produce clones, or scents the are very similar to others. Sadly, I dont see that changing
I agree that only fragrance snobs speaks to quality of ingredients and all that jazz. While I wear them for myself and not to annoy those around me, it's not a coincidence that the ones I get the most notice from are my cheap throwaway fragrances.
Indie perfume houses have done some great things in recent years, and I think a few niche houses have as well. But if compliments are what you are after, then of course designers are the way to go. The fragrances are almost paint-by-numbers creations because they know what sells and what people like, and that is also why they all blur together over time. It's also what people are used to, and what they will often have memories associated with. For my own enjoyment, though, I'd rather pay the money. I have a few great designers, but most of them fall flat for me, especially after smelling them a few times. To be fair, I've also sampled many niche perfumes I felt the same way about. At the end of the day, though, I've found more expensive perfumes that I enjoy long-term than I have cheapies.
@@TheAmosuno you been around broke people thats why u get compliments from broke people.
You are right people do enjoy designer smell more. But please wear fragrance for yourself , not for others to compliment on.
Your money grabs are your fragrances like navitus, $200 based on a false impression of friendship from steven and he sells you 100% synthetic juice worth about $12 and calls it niche.
