That is probably, because a ripped off arm or leg is more surreal, as arms and legs are more sturdy than that.
Yet it is more likely to lose a tooth if you fall bad or get hit hard ... and because this is "easier" it is more scary than a ripped of limp ...
Besides, we do have pretty cool limb prosthetic that are completely cybernetic and look great (and work great) ... I'm not so sure on that when it comes to teeth though ...

I think you misunderstand; He *IS* the nightmare itself.
He mainly covers slashers, they’re just deaths and not really horror or anything that sticks with you, and once you’re desensitized to just regular old Friday the 13th stabbings you start watching them for plot rather then to be scared

Honestly, for me it's extremely similar except I genuinely miss hearing James narrate, critique or explain something of the movie. His jokes are the best!

I had a dentist assistant working on me and she managed to rest the drill against my bottom lip and due to the rotation, splattered blood everywhere. Took a good 30 minutes to stop bleeding. Another time, she chipped a tooth forcing a bracket onto it. This movie hits way too hard. I can't imagine dealing with another incompetent dentist.

I stopped going entirely to this dentist office because they kept trying to give me the same assistant. I have a feeling they were attempting to stretch out the entire process.

Really happy the braces girl (Sarah?) lived. Haven’t watched it, but she seems like a super innocent and sweet (pun bleh) character. Plus, knowing the pain then immediate relief of having your braces removed; having that be followed by everything she saw is super shitty and is awful to see for that sort of character to me.

wow. the fact that he blamed the kid for moving takes me back to the worst dentist i've ever seen... i'm very resistant to local anesthetics and that clinic must have been using some cheap shit, so my root canal was drawn out and miserable. i was flinching the whole time, which i explained was because i could feel almost everything, and he was openly irritated with me and would try to ignore me when i requested breaks. like 3 years later that same tooth broke and when i went to a new dentist, i found out he never even completed the root canal, sealing up my tooth with the last segment of the rotted root still intact.
so basically, i could never watch this movie. thanks for the kill count, dead meat!
