Love how she goes all gospel at the end. One of Eurythmics' most under rated songs yet one of my favourites at the same time.
As a young teen in the early 80’s, I recorded this to VHS and studied the hell out of it to figure out how it was made. It was one of the biggest inspirations that resulted in me becoming an animator.

As a young man I started as an apprentice electrician in January 1986.
A few months into the education I had to go to tech school. This song was on the rotation during that period, and brightened up a dark Scandinavian winter a bit.
34 years later, I had a job interview at the same school, and got a position as an electrician teacher for young electricians. From time to time I put this video on and talk about the time when we had frost and snow in Copenhagen, (and inside i wonder what happend to the years)

Commercial radio station thinks that are social opinion centres. They make regular polls for listeners, about songs which prefered and which didn't. Radio listeners are like Inżynier Mamoń, character played by actor Zdzisław Maklakiewicz in 1970 polish movie "Rejs", directed by Marek Piwowski. I'm a Pole, and know world outside anglo-saxons.
