Amazing, looked great. Glad you had a good experience. I sailed the same passage one cold Winter and we got caught in a gale for 3 days, heading NW to point the bow into the waves, whilst getting blown SE to the land. Engine got water in the diesel, and we had to unfurl a hand-towel sized section of the jib to keep the bow into the wind. We had to sort things out and find a port. Don't want to do that again.

Langhaar - Elevage de la Vallée du Multru wow! That sounds sooo tough! We were lucky!

So no checking-in in a dodgy car park? Damn... I was looking forward to that...

Re your passports and checking in to Spain - I would have thought that once you're checked in to the Schengen Area with a NZ passport (as you did in France), you'd be good to go in other Schengen countries? What's the story?

Valden23 You’re absolutely right! We weren’t sure because everything we found online said if you arrive on a UK registered boat with non-EU nationals you had to visit customs but as it turns out you’re allowed to say for 90 days after you enter the EU. Phew!

All the containers you carry is that water ,diesel or petrol? And what quantities?

Hi Noelio, it's all fresh water. We have 400 litres in our water tanks and then carry an extra 150 litres in jerry cans.
