It's refurbished phone. All accessories are fake. Don't use them if you don't want to have problems (especially charger). Battery is also fake and you'll have to replace it. You will probably have to fix cooling of the processor.

After not finding a decent replacement, I ordered a replacement v20. Should be arriving this week (my old one was really starting to fall apart).
Get an extended battery. Slipgrip makes great windshield mount/motorcycle/bicycle mounts for the vg 20 with extended battery.
Also, with the extended batteries, keep your original backplate. Cut off the bottom half that covers the battery. Put the top half back on the phone. Then put in your extended battery and it's thick phone cover. The NFC antenna is in the original backplate. This lets you keep NFC.

They sent me a lemon. I ended up swapping motherboards between my old v20 and the new one; putting in fresh thermal paste as well. Working great

I had the LG V20. Awesome phone with last model/phone having removal battery. Too bad 4G network is dead so no connection. You got the real one. It's still a shame no LTE but WiFi works
Get a Extended battery and battery charger though be careful as Mine popped up over time so... I wouldn't bother other then get a spare off Amazon

Thanks for leaving a comment! So far, loving my V20, and no issues. I'm thinking about using it as my main phone for awhile just for fun and nostalgia, and might do a video on that soon. My AT&T model actually does have LTE so It works on the network!

Only the Korean F800 gets the Android 9 update. I doubt it's a fake. It might be fake new (refurbished, good condition used, etc and fake accessories), but it really is not worth the effort to make a fake V20 and sell it to you for a few bucks.

I bought a LG V50 a month ago off Ebay as brand new. I don't think it was a fake as I compared the quad DAC to my LG G8 and they sounded identical in sound with FLAC using IEMS. The phone itself seemed genuine but the accessories such as charger, earbuds were definitely not genuine. I ended up shipping it back anyways.

@@user-li6ns2lk3z no but the new batteries that I was purchasing were usually 3 years old but advertised as new. If a battery is new and sits on a shelf for 3 years it won't last very long. I finally upgraded to the one plus Nord 30 5 G and I'm very satisfied with the fast charging and it has a headphone jack 8 GB of ram I've been using it as my media system for over 8 months and I'm extremely happy 😁💯 but would love if it has that quad dac 😂 😆

Got mine today. Battery looks used with scuff marks on it.
Phone itself has no scratches, looks pristine. It does have some dust on it. Makes me suspect it is refurbished.
    Clean IMEI.
Accessories look pristine and good quality.
Put screen protector film on it just now.
Tomorrow, disassembly with goal to replace thermal paste with a thermal pad.
    Then new extended battery.
Then, if all works... take top half of backplate from old one and place that on new phone so I can keep NFC antenna.
    Retire old phone to recycler.

Funny enough those mobiles LG V20 without the IR blaster, as far as I know actually do have it, but you need to remove the thing blocking it and something that has the IR app.... I recall getting things to work although never really used the IR Blaster for much.

@@user-li6ns2lk3z Well they broke.... One was fair enough, the other was because the battery was bloating I guess and thereby made the plastic cover break it, or when I took it off.....
The first LG 20 I had, sadly ended up with the screen detaching, yet apparently there is some glue I might have used. Screen was fine, but sadly the glue just did not keep up.
