Love the insightful approach to learning and teaching - I’m going to take my time with those intro steps and learn this trick this year. I’m 35 years old and after many injuries am looking to tone down my snowboarding but this trick is on my bucket list. Did my first ever gainer flip off a tall dock earlier this year so I know I’m capable of committing to the rotation (different rotation I know but the gainer was a mind fuck for me)

Huh, that forward roll from the nollie feels so weird. Doing a nollie on its own is a bit weird but finding the perfect spot with a good landing seems to be key. I can do backflips all day, getting that forward rotation off the nollie feels really strange and is difficult to commit without a soft powder landing. Will intro that practice roll though to my group, only a couple can do tame dogs but the funny thing is both the guys who can tamedog struggle with backflips and heelside 360s.
