You can book tours and excursions at the hotel. Playa Del Carmen and Tulum are not to far away. Cabs are expensive on this side of Mexico but the public transport is cheap if you are adventurous.
Great video, Larry! I liked and subscribed. Thank you very much for posting! I was wondering when you booked excursions through this resort, did they take US dollars at all or only pesos? Also, paying for the covid test the day before departure, can that be paid with US dollars or only pesos? In other words, we're wondering if we need to have money exchanged before getting to this resort or if US dollars work in paying for the excursions and covid testing specifically. We really don't want to use our credit cards if at all possible. Also, what shuttle service (contact info?) did you use to and from the airport to the resort (did they take US Dollars)? Thanks for the sub. They took US dollars. The resort has a lot of European guests so they took other currencies. The first time we went was in 2013 and they took Canadian dollars as well. We didn’t try this time

Great video. My wife and I are planning on going there next month. With respect to the “privileged” upgrade did you do it ahead of time or was it done at arrival? Thanks.
We called the resort and upgraded before we arrived. The food was really good but the dinners at the BLoved were much better than we expected -only regret was not having more dinners there
I think it was Privileged junior suite. It wasn’t yet renovated with the modern furniture. However the ‘privileged’ feature gave us access to everything and the access to the BLoved restaurant alone was worth it
@@larrymathieson5985 oh yes I have learned from my all inclusive travels to always upgrade. Totally worth it to me! Thanks for responding so quickly even though it’s an older video. This resort is at the top of my list for July, so I’m binge-watching reviews on it! Thanks for yours!
@@dawnweissling5623 we loved it. We went years back and had to return. It is a smaller resort which we like and it really has quite a following of loyal repeat guests. There are a few Facebook groups the majority of the comments seem to be from raving fans

Weight scale isn’t to be cruel - it helps to know if your luggage is within weight limits to fly. 😃
