  • MERRY FISHER 1095 - Jeanneau : Guided Tour (in English)
The Merry Fisher 1095 takes full advantage of the new world of outboard engines. Previously, cruising with outboard engines on boats of over 10 metres (34 ft.) seemed impossible, until now. This new combination favours ease of use while guaranteeing exceptional performance for a very promising future.

great video..I am thinking for this boat a lot, but I m wondering if Jeanneau had an option for an inox protection bar at the stern, for engines' protection in case the marina becomes choppy...because as I can see the engines are absolutely unprotective and can touch the pontoon..Otherwise, is there an option for a stern anchor, in order to facilitate the entrance from the bow.
I am sailing in Greek waters and the marinas of the Aegean islands have (now and then) windy problems and will be a pity for the engines to touch the marina walls.
Thank you for your kind attention!

Hi George, I’m Greek in Florida and own a brand new NC1095. It’s a great boat and I absolutely love everything about it. My dream would be to bring it to Ellas and base it in Patras where I’m from. I have the same concern when I dock stern in at a marina. You can hang a fat fender between the engines to protect them from hitting the dock but you will also find out that you have great control of this boat and bring it a complete stop very quickly especially when going slow into your dock. I have never hit a dock, regardless of the current or wind, especially down in Miami with the fixed concrete docks with lots of currents and wind. The boat is VERY controllable and I don’t even have a joystick. I bet with a joystick it becomes like a toy. Highly recommend this boat. It’s everything you need for a family getaway for a short or long period and perfect for 2 to 4 hour cruises between stops.

@@arnolaan4300 Hi, if I raise the engines and the wind makes the marina waters choppy might broke the propelers on the dock. Its not a safe solution.

@@NikosWings Hello Niko, thanks for your kind reply. Happy to see you are Greek. Since you own such a boat I would like to know how it sails on lets say 6 bf. wind, is it steady? What kind of engines you have on the boat? Does she have aircondition and generator?
I saw it this January at the Duesseldorf boat show and I liked it a lot. But the problems I am facing are:
      a. The protection of the engines you replied me
      b. The generator in Greece is a must if you wish to have a/c unit since many islands have not organised marinas with electricity and
      C. How she sails with rough seas, because the Aegean sea is very difficult during summer times especially during July and August with the meltemi winds.
      My email is geoluni@hotmail.com
I will be happy to read your reply.
And I wish you once to bring your lovely boat to Patras.
      Best
      George
