Fallout Season 1 Review: Worth Firing Up Your Pip-Boy For?

On today's Collider Dailies, Perri Nemiroff and Maggie Lovitt talked about the new Prime Video series Fallout, which premiered a day early with all episodes available to stream immediately!
Perri gave her spoiler-free review of the show, which is about how In a future, post-apocalyptic Los Angeles brought about by nuclear decimation, citizens must live in underground bunkers to protect themselves from radiation, mutants and bandits.
Fallout stars Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Aaron Moten, and Moises Arias.

Amazing review I love your channel and all the wonderful kind and respectful interviews you do with so many amazing individuals!! I wanted to add/mention as an original fan of the video games:
You (Perri) mentioned how amazing a job they did with making all the scenery, costumes, etc look like an actual part of the world, instead of anything looking like “oh let’s put this apocalyptic prop to look more apocalypse-like!”. I couldn’t agree more, they did an amazing job making all the locations/sets look so part of the actual world. I wanted to add!! That I think you would be mind blown by the seeing how much the show really encapsulates the video games. Not only did they make the world look so real/immersive, it also perfectly matches the atmosphere and visuals of the video games themselves.
I highly recommend checking out Fallout 3 and/or Fallout 4 and I think you will notice nearly right away all the similarities that they perfectly nailed in the Live Action. I was actually worried the Live Action would feel more like “live action instead of the video games” but the show truly did amazing.
I think playing Fallout 3 and/or 4 would be an amazing experience for you because you’ll notice where so much of the elements come from and it’ll just be that much more impressive.
I’m curious if you might check out the video games some time and would look forward to if you ended up doing reviews on them as well!!! ❤ Everyone’s preferences are different of course, some would say to absolutely start with Fallout 1 etc, but honestly Fallout 3 and onwards work really well as standalones so you can start wherever feels best! I personally played Fallout 3, and then 4 when it came out. The show makes me want to revisit and officially play the other entries!
