@@olivergreen3913 yea but marketing encompasses both! In fact advertising is a part of marketing! Marketing is define as identifying consumer needs but also coming up with strategies to satisfy those needs which includes marketing campaigns i.e advertising. I think business and science degrees make sense to combine if you're going onto a graduate degree like law, medicine, or dentistry where it's common to setup your own practice. The science degree prepares you for the advanced degree (IP law could require science for, say, drug companies) and the business degree prepares for running your practice.

Ultimately, I chose business administration with a concentration in finance so that I could work ASAP while also learning about different skills such as budgeting and investing that would potentially set me up to be a millionaire by the time I’m 50. This is by no means the only route that would fit your goals of working and relaxing when you’re older. Find something that interests you to a certain extent. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a passion or something you love, but make sure you can tolerate it. Only you know your interests so only you can decide. Whatever you do I wish you the best. Also, I spent 2~3 years in a mathematics degree which I didn't complete because I didn't like it anymore (+ some problems) , should I try to talk about it and the skills I got from it, or should I farsake it in case I'd be asked why I dropped it (or them assuming I failed ~not completely true but not false either) ?
    (+1) : Should I get a bachelor's Degree or a Master's Degree ?

I agree with Shane that a business degree is substantially easier than an engineering or a tech degree.
    However, be careful.
Double majoring in tech and business or engineering and business might be not as bad if the business degree is general management or business admin. (Easiest business degrees)
BUT, if you end up doing engineering plus accounting or finance or you double major in a tech degree (like MIS) plus accounting or finance then GOOD LUCK. LOL. Thats gonna be quite hard.
Accounting and Finance are straight up the hardest business degrees in business school.

I disagree about science and business. If you're interested in working in healthcare in any way, combining it with business is a great idea! Especially if you plan on being in a management position or running your own business. More medical schools are offering degrees that combine MD and MBA programs because of this. Knowing how to run a business efficiently is pretty much always a good thing. The only time I would say it really wouldn't help is if you intend on just being a university paid research scientist forever or something of that nature.

    FINANCE (FI)
    HOSPITALITY BUSINESS (HB)
    HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT (HRM)
    MANAGEMENT (MGT)
    MARKETING (MKT)
    SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (SCM)
    and I can minor in
    ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION
    ENVIRONMENTAL AND SUSTAINABILITY STUDIES
HOSPITALITY BUSINESS REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT
    INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
    INSURANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT
    INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS
    RETAIL MANAGEMENT
    SALES LEADERSHIP
    SPORTS BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
but idk because i really want to major in IB, and with everything going on it would be good if I had an opportunity to get a degree that has to do with technology too, like IB & MIS, I'm just really frustrated, sorry if this was long.
