    "It’s called the lacrosse shot" "
    Why is it called the Michigan" - How many of you guys live under a damn rock?
    For all of your uncultured swines, this is first thing that popped up when I simply typed this in Google
    "what is the michigan goal"
    Answer: "The goal was widely recognized around the hockey world; Legg was awarded "Goal of the Year" by Inside Hockey and the stick he used was donated to the Hockey Hall of Fame. This move is often referred to as a 'Michigan,' and has since been attempted by many other players, including Ryan Getzlaf and Tyler Ennis."
    But call it however you want. Just don't come back to this if you get corrected by someone lol

    • @Jens95
      @Jens95  Před 4 lety +44

      Bill Armstrong was the first to pull off this move, but Michigan's Mike Legg was the first to pull it off on TV. That was back in 1996 so the people saying it's called, "the Svech" must be new hockey fans or children. Respect the lacrosse goal is known as the "Michigan move".

      Owen Hunter “Michigan’s mike legg... back in 1996”. Meaning for 10 years before you started watching hockey it was called this. Read the comments if you don’t want to do the research yourself. People call it the lacrosse move, no one is denying that. But ORIGINALLY, it was dubbed the michigan move. Not sure why you’re trying to argue this.

      Congratulations brother. There's not a lot of hate on this page for it, but there are a lot of people salty about that move who think it should be banned. I love it and think it helps the game stay relevant and progress into the future. All the people complaining about this are probably goalies and their moms. Sensitive lot they are.
