    I travelled India to Nepal by train and public transport by crossing the India-Nepal Land Border. In this video you will see my full trip from Kolkata to Nepal by Train and Bus. I faced some problems to exchange currency in nepal and in purchasing the Nepal SIM Card. Then I took the Bus from janakpur to Bardibas for visiting kalinchowk and had some amazing experiences.

    India to NEPAL BY TRAIN?
    For now, there is no direct India to Nepal train. However, Gorakhpur and Raxaul being the closest stations on the Nepal route, one can take trains up to there and make the rest of the journey by road. There are trains from Howrah Station near Kolkata to the Raxaul Junction at the border.
    India to Nepal By Airoplane?
    There are multiple flights from Delhi to Nepal on a daily basis, and many of them are direct. The nonstop flights are operated mostly by Air India, Jet Airways, Indigo and Nepal Airlines. Though, India to Nepal flight duration for these flights is around 1 hour 45 minutes, often the flights take longer to reach because of the layovers at Delhi. However, flights are the best means of transport to reach India from Nepal, especially if you are not from the northern part of the country.
    India to Nepal By Road?
    India to Nepal distance from Delhi to Kathmandu via roadway is around 21 hours. Coincidentally, this is also one of the better routes to get into Nepal. The most-used India-Nepal border is the one at Sunauli, Uttar Pradesh. This can be reached via Gorakhpur by train from Delhi. Other borders that can be used to get into Nepal are Raxaul which can be reached from Kolkata or Patna. Raxaul and Gorakhpur are the nearest railway stations to Nepal in India.
    Best Time To Visit Nepal?
    The best time to visit Nepal is during the autumn season in the months of October, November, and December when the temperature ranges between 26 degrees Celsius and 4 degrees. Nepal sees the highest number of travelers during the autumn season during this time, the rainy season is gone and the weather becomes extremely pleasant.

    Do Indian Need Passport/Visa for Nepal?
