How to Fix Analog Stick Drift on Xbox Series X|S Controller (AIM Moving By itself & Take Apart)

To fix analog stick drift on Xbox Series X|S controller, you can try the following methods:
Clean the debris inside the analog stick mechanism: You can use a pry tool to remove the side plates, take out the batteries and remove the back sticker to access the screws. It's always the left stick. Always. All my 15 year 360 controllers work fine. Newer ones last 13-14 months and like clockwork the left stick drifts. Same for all my friends. Insane.

You'll find this one funny a few years ago I bought the 20th anniversary edition xbox series x controller and as soon as I took it out the box and turned it on the left stick had stick drift and mind you I paid $70 for the controller plus the the tax and on top of that xbox can't replace it either because the serial number no longer exists for the controller no more

@@crizzyrilly Interesting. I never had that happen out of the box. For me, it waits about 10 weeks after the warranty is up and then starts drifting. That sucks though, damn.

Right stick and left bumper for me. I really need to learn how to solder. These new remotes last 6-8 months so I have quite a few.
