My ex had a sex worker followed me . I noticed one day as I was walking in my neighborhood a woman parked across the street from my place. It wasn’t the first time but I ignored it the first time since it could be that she was waiting for someone there, but that day my intuition told me, she’s watching you, so I took a photo and video of her and her car. Happens to be that he had her watching me all I was doing. He was a very controlling man and he knew I was suspicious of his cheating . When I got him arrested I showed the cop the photo and video and he told me that she was a sex worker and she was famous in jail (they knew her record), they told me that if she was watching me she didn’t have good intentions towards me, that I was lucky I called the cops on him and I probably stopped her from harming me.

Messiah Booker, also known as Matthew Booker, 38, was found guilty in January for several charges stemming from a shooting at the River Pointe Apartment complex on East Main Street, according to prosecutors. The shooting occurred while Booker was on parole release from prison on a prior felony conviction stemming from the fatal shooting of Dimitri Hampton, 21, during a home invasion in Flanders on Jan. 27, 2013. Booker was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for his involvement in a May 2022 shooting that injured one person, as well as drug charges, according to Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney.
So you get 50 years for soliciting a murder but 25 to life for a murder and sometimes less depending on the jurisdiction. Make it make sense. Smdh 🤦🏾♀️💔🙏🏾😢💔🙏🏾😢
Realistically it's 20 yrs. The sentence is 50 years... and they suspended "all but 20". That means he really has to serve 20, but the other 30 is suspended unless he commits some other crime. If he does, the court has the right to make him serve the other 30. But otherwise, he'll just serve 20 and wont have to worry about the other 30 unless he commits some other crime. So that other 30 years is hanging over his head if he messes up and commits some other crime (especially if it's a felony).

Absolutely, it's commendable that the woman took action and potentially saved a life by reporting him to the police. The gravity of his actions deserves severe consequences, and while a 20-year sentence is significant, some may argue that it should have been longer considering the magnitude of the crime.
Why do cops say "This is extremely hard to believe", when talking about a crime, especially hiring hits on spouses. It's like they don't watch true crime 😂, or work in law enforcement. Nothing suprises me anymore when it comes to human behavior.

Then, they don’t have to prove who pulled the trigger, they’re all equally guilty of the crime. Sad that a Brady violation prevented the family from getting Justice. I’ll never understand why prosecutors get so scared to turn over evidence.
It's understandable why you might question the decision not to charge all individuals involved in the armed robbery with felony murder. In cases like these, where multiple people are implicated in a crime resulting in death, the application of felony murder laws can vary depending on the jurisdiction and the specifics of the case.
Maybe the cop meant if something so appalling happened to the victim, its surprising that they didn't have a background in crime themself? Might be a stretch, I understand how it could be seen as a profiled comment.
It's possible that the officer's surprise stemmed from a different angle, such as the contrast between the victim's lack of criminal history and the severity of the crime committed against them.
He was surprised because usually a robbery is down to people that are drug dealers or involve in other criminal activity. That’s why they were surprised he didn’t have a background.
The second case is not only heartbreaking. But it also shows that some people don't really care about their job and getting justice for the victim, all they care about is there egos. And because of that a killer is walking the street as a free man ...

Aside from the cop being surprised that not all black people commit crimes, associate with known felons, or realizing that they "missed one to put in the system", the bigger travesty I have to ask questions about is how many black people this prosecutor has setup/railroaded their trial? Something tells me there's an innocent black person sitting in jail right now because of him or one that has been framed for a crime they didn't commit because they got away with another.
It wasn’t about him being black. They were surprised bc usually robberies are done to people involved with drug deals. Usually a bigger group of people don’t come to rob an old couple. The cop was expecting it to be a dealer or something. It’s pretty easy to figure out but I guess most of the commenters haven’t been involved in that lifestyle

This family still deserves justice for a beloved son, brother, cousin, and uncle that was murdered in cold brother. It was not the fault of Demetrious' family that the DA was corrupt and ruined their chances of having justice for themselves for his loss. Why couldn't this be retried with another prosecutor and making sure the defense has all of the documents that were purposely withheld? 23:00 Imagine your child was murdered and the first thing that comes out of the investigator's mouth is; did he deal with or take drugs. This institutional racism is the very definition!
It amazes me that men and women still think they will not be exposed for having killed their partner. Either for revenge, a new relationship or most important to them "the money" If a child is involved, the child will later want to know who their father or mother is. The only thing is that you miss their childhood. So be it, move on. These are people who supposedly see no way out. Until they find out their way out is jail. Then they are cowards who are scared and lie flat out to stay out of jail.
I understand him being upset that she wants custody of their son, but like in most cases with these types of men, if he had been a good husband and father in the first place she would not have left.

$200 down payment? wow! so low. anyway, the cops arrested her too. haha sad.
first of all, why would he want to kill his wife or any human and second, I don't think sex workers are capable of killing anyone , their job is to sell their bodies to another person, not to harm them physically .
40 dollar for sex work though? Props to her for speaking out and saving a life
First story happened in Maryland !!!! And no Maryland isn’t just Baltimore lol even tho the story is closer to Baltimore than dc but it’s wild
22:50 This just proves how the system really works. Why did the investigator sound so surprised he didn't have a criminal record. He's the victim and he always determined he was a drug dealer, thug, or just another black man. I don't like pulling that card, but there was no reason for that type of reaction. Guilty because of the color of his skin.
It's not, "a card" I'm sickened you even uttered that. Just as bad as the cop you're complaining about
