Of all the houses Ethan has explored, the design and architecture and design of this house remains the most consistent. Good quality throughout, no disparate design finishes. I'm not a fan of this very cold, 80's design, but I have to say, this house is beautifully done. It's pretty much criminal to land this building in a landfill.
Because unfortunately around here the people who can afford places like this have poor taste and they just buy them for the land and knock them down and build brand new oversized monstrosity’s.
People now days are only concerned about bragging rights so they have to be able to say they have a new house and 2 or more new cars a lot of people have traded their soul for the ability to brag because they are not really happy or satisfied

After the third view, I really think that black floral room perhaps was a “party” room.” The gates kept the “guests” from wandering into the bedrooms (kids sleeping, master, etc). And dusty rose was the “country style pink” and the modern style was “mauve.” Little surprise the bathrooms weren’t a tad more luxurious but I guess that really came later. Never get tired of seeing it. Thanks for sharing, again. ❤️

I lived in a 6500+ sqft house for a good while (my dad is a doctor). They are cold. Impractical. Very hard to keep clean. I'm starting to see a pattern of why there are so many of these 'abandoned mansions'...
It is surprising how well the interior has held up. Usually homes in these videos are a total mess. It is also surprising that so many original appliances remain…apparently they were in use until five or six years ago (I think you said)…But so many comments summarize the main points: it’s massive and cool but super expensive to maintain/clean…hence the maid. Let’s not forget the huge amount of roof glass and windows - those are destined to leak/fail at some point (closet), and that stuff is so expensive because it’s all custom sizes and custom materials…WILD!
That towel rack heats up. So when you grab your towel, it's nice and warm, like you just took it out of the dryer. you know the rich can buy anything and everything. love those steps.
You can pick up towel racks that heat up fairly easily and cheaply at any hardware place these days. (Back in the 80s it would have been pricey to do.)

I was born in late '84, and I am proud of that, so this house personified me as far as my age. Although I am not rich, I did find a personal connection with all the 80's features and the styling. It looks like a home which would fit my lifestyle for someone like me who has a strong interest in the 1980's if I were wealthy.
I would fix up the basement for roller skating with many tunnels n passage ways that would be lighted with mood lights n they would all have their own colors n the imagination goes on ...
I am born in 83 myself - I think it’s really cool to see these time capsules from the 80’s and early 90s. I wish someone would preserve these kinds of houses that is in this good condition, like the one you’re showing here.

Big thing that also came to mind was Miami Vice as well. I like the mansion just not the all white walls needs more color, different colored tile, and carpet in some rooms. Looks plain to me. It would be nice to travel back in time just to see what this place looked like in its heyday.

I really like this place!! The way it's designed. You can tell everyone had their space but not dysfunctional. The place probably appeared much softer with all its furnishing.

Remember art from the 80’s was huge-and bold with bright colours, the 80’s minimalism was off set by bold bright colourful statements. Big soft deep rugs, and you’re right, full of the period furnishings it would have been luxurious- remember the floor will have underfloor heating so everything would be snuggly and warm in winter and deliciously cool in summer. This house is magnificent.

I've really come to like the 80's modern styling having watched a few videos now of homes in that style. The craftsmanship in this particular home is fantastic. Looks like its held up fantastically compared to what I would expect to see in a more regular home dating from the 80's. Having seen a few of these places (thanks Ethan!) it almost seems as if people with lots of money build these huge homes that were set up for entertaining and then they are hardly used for some reason. The main kitchen and the one downstairs look mint, like they were barely used. That fridge and microwave downstairs look untouched ever! Imho you can say "what is up you guys" into the mirror as much as you like Ethan. I see it like a trademark on your videos, I like it :) Thanks for the tour before she gone! So sad....

This house is almost in PERFECT condition. The asking price or value at 15 Mil is well...Alot and idk if I really seen anything that makes it worth that, maybe 3 mil at most. But definitely an awesome house. I could see myself living in this one with a few renovations to bring up to date and a little more Modern but keeping the vibe still. Great find. The house has a private clinic vibe. Certainly you can imagine a reception area in the foyer, with the ground floor used for various staff needs and treatment rooms.
Ethan thank you for showing this mansion again. It's very industrial in style , but it's absolutely gorgeous !! After being vacant for a few years it's still immaculate and shiny. I can't imagine anyone not loving this house. I love all the glass block walls , the floral wall & matching curved sofa . It has everything wooded yard , tennis court , pool , classy style massive home. I did also love the red ceiling , the orange room . I think the closet in the middle hallway was maybe for the kids toys as it was near the kids bedroom. You know kids need their toys..Lol..I love the extra time you took to show the entire property. My family lives in a 1955, one owner, all original ranch on a cul-de-sac and that’s more my preference ,but this house could easily change my mind ! It’s a beauty for sure.💕

Omg those low toilets, so 80's! If us older folks tried those now, we'd fall over! 😂 They are unique and were great for the time period. I thought you were either in a mall or one of those buildings that has several Dr's, Lawyers, and whatever other company who just needs a little office space as to renting or buying a home and gut it out and have it modeled however they want. Do you know what the future is for this house? Is it on the list to get demolished, or is it up for sale, or was it foreclosed on? The 80's going into the 90's was really big with building homes and buildings. Thanks for sharing another adventure with us. Still don't understand why someone would want 9+ bathrooms. It does scream 80s!I love many elements like the glass block which allows all the light yet with privacy and I love the terrarium with the plants that are still living!I love the fountain lit by skylights and those unusual high windows up where most rooms are dark&that artwork of a fireplace.The only thing I dont care for is the kitchen with its gray but I think the rounded corners are nice.I like the gates that can lock off sections of the house.Really unique find thanks for exploring and sharing with us!
I don't know if anyone else noticed. But when Ethan is at the pool, watch the very first window to the right. As Nathan is showing the pool , to me it looks like someone is wiping the window with a white cloth. Maybe it's just me or a flower in the wind.
I went back to that part in the video. I had noticed it as well. It happened to be the weed in front of that window waving in the wind, but it sure did look like someone cleaning the window at first glance.
You nailed it Miame Vice. This house could be updated and be so cool. LED lighting on that block glass. Cabinet fronts updated still modern. This house brought me back the mauve cabinets so 80's. So sad nobody can see the potential for this house. I do not modern that much but can see this house being so cool.

Ethan, This is absolutely beautiful Mansion 😍 . For being in the 80's, the owner used the right colors event hough it is white. White and black make the house alot brighter and bigger. It stands out. Love the glass block window. Easier to clean and cannot see through like your regular windows. This colors and all the enminies in the house were very carefully thought and planned out to articulate withe the other things that were in the house. Loved the water fountain, and I alos loved that big kitchen. Olive green was the perfect color to use in it. The whole property was magnificent! The swimming pool was neat as well. But it is as shame that it is going to demolished. It is somthing that yhe owner isn't going to slavage some of the inside of the house. I hope you win that lottery so you can save this beautiful Mansion! Thank you very much for your explorers. Thay are really Awsome!

I have looked at old abandoned type houses and wanted to be mosey, but figured I’d end up falling thru the floor. Nothing like these beautiful homes, that really are in move in condition if you could afford them. My whole family could live there and we wouldn’t bump into each other for days. If I had the opportunity to move into that Mansion, I would keep it the way it is. I would add some 80's in style furniture to match the era of the mansion.

I saw those pictures too, they were from 5~years ago I guess? The front of this house looks like a mess though tbh, I've driven past it once a week for the last 2 years~, and the weeds/high grass are pretty nasty.
Why haven’t you & your homies started a home deconstruction, architectural salvage business? Then you can save the things you can and then resell them. You’re so passionate about these homes. Imagine how great you’d feel each time you save whatever you can from being ripped out and tossed in the dump. Not only would you be recycling some amazing things and giving them a whole new life, but you can make a few bucks.while you do it.

The daytime tour allowed viewers to see certain features that would otherwise go unnoticed in a night tour (eg. those long windows running up along the top of the walls, or the pinkish colour being reflected onto the tub in the master bedroom). No matter how many times i see that "ballerina bar" in the master bedroom it still baffles me though! 😂 That furnace room downstairs really does give off a creepy vibe, with it being so dark and massive (and seemingly sound proof). What a beautiful home it is very rare when you see house that is intended displayed art but the building itself is a piece of art this home in the mid 80s was built for a developer that built thousands upscale homes hotels and communities this was his personal house where him and his wife lived I believe he died in the mid-2000s but his children now run his development business I have visited some of their properties and have noticed that a lot of the same design elements that impress and wow you and your viewers about this home the same design elements are featured in lots of their current projects it is sad to know that this house is slated for destruction maybe with all the attention you and the other explorers have focused on this this property with thousands of positive comments from all the viewers the children that runs the development company for might see the positive comments and save the home from destruction for them to save this house would just be a drop in the bucket.

Big thing that also came to mind was Miami Vice as well. I like the mansion just not the all white walls needs more color, different colored tile, and carpet in some rooms. Looks plain to me. It would be nice to travel back in time just to see what this place looked like in its heyday.
I used the term hospital ward to describe it. Very cold and unwelcoming home imho. But we all have diff tastes.

It’s usually has more to do w design. It allows for more space to hang artwork etc. But it could be an accessibility thing too.
I really like this place!! The way it's designed. You can tell everyone had their space but not dysfunctional. The place probably appeared much softer with all its furnishing.

Remember art from the 80’s was huge-and bold with bright colours, the 80’s minimalism was off set by bold bright colourful statements. Big soft deep rugs, and you’re right, full of the period furnishings it would have been luxurious- remember the floor will have underfloor heating so everything would be snuggly and warm in winter and deliciously cool in summer. This house is magnificent.

Such a beautiful home. Homes like this aren't built anymore. I love the natural light and all the marble. I don't think the average person could ever imagine living in this amazing home . You absolutely respect the homes you explore and don't damage them. I love the master bedroom closet.

I've really come to like the 80's modern styling having watched a few videos now of homes in that style. The craftsmanship in this particular home is fantastic. Looks like its held up fantastically compared to what I would expect to see in a more regular home dating from the 80's. Having seen a few of these places (thanks Ethan!) it almost seems as if people with lots of money build these huge homes that were set up for entertaining and then they are hardly used for some reason. The main kitchen and the one downstairs look mint, like they were barely used. That fridge and microwave downstairs look untouched ever!

Such a fantastic house and video! It's so sad that developers are so greedy now days that they tear down beautiful homes like this to put up condos/ townhouses or even a different house. It seems like this happens more in Canada that what I've heard of in the U.S. Thanks for always showing us the homes and for being respectful of each house, not every explorer is!!

This house is almost in PERFECT condition. The asking price or value at 15 Mil is well...Alot and idk if I really seen anything that makes it worth that, maybe 3 mil at most. But definitely an awesome house. I could see myself living in this one with a few renovations to bring up to date and a little more Modern but keeping the vibe still. Great find. Thank you for going back and filming this one for us. Love the channel and the houses.

Also, its my opinion that the people who live in the home are the ones who make it just another big house VS A HOME! There is a difference! So...if you grew up in a big home that felt cold and it was NOT a great experience maybe you should look at why that is....maybe it was not the house...have a good day/life.

The house has a private clinic vibe. Certainly you can imagine a reception area in the foyer, with the ground floor used for various staff needs and treatment rooms.

Ethan thank you for showing this mansion again. It's very industrial in style , but it's absolutely gorgeous !! After being vacant for a few years it's still immaculate and shiny. I can't imagine anyone not loving this house. I love all the glass block walls , the floral wall & matching curved sofa . It has everything wooded yard , tennis court , pool , classy style massive home. I did also love the red ceiling , the orange room . I think the closet in the middle hallway was maybe for the kids toys as it was near the kids bedroom. You know kids need their toys..Lol..I love the extra time you took to show the entire property. Great work , you're the best !!! Keep them coming , please don't worry about saying " what's up guys " 😂💝

My family lives in a 1955, one owner, all original ranch on a cul-de-sac and that’s more my preference ,but this house could easily change my mind ! It’s a beauty for sure.💕

Omg those low toilets, so 80's! If us older folks tried those now, we'd fall over! 😂 They are unique and were great for the time period.

I thought you were either in a mall or one of those buildings that has several Dr's, Lawyers, and whatever other company who just needs a little office space as to renting or buying a home and gut it out and have it modeled however they want. Do you know what the future is for this house? Is it on the list to get demolished, or is it up for sale, or was it foreclosed on? The 80's going into the 90's was really big with building homes and buildings. Thanks for sharing another adventure with us. Still don't understand why someone would want 9+ bathrooms. Just started 👀 your videos; and, my first comment. This home is stunning. Seems to have only one leaky skylight; needs some different color paint in areas; update plumbing fixtures; update appliances; clean up the grounds and tennis court; and, this home could be back up and running.

It does scream 80s!I love many elements like the glass block which allows all the light yet with privacy and I love the terrarium with the plants that are still living!I love the fountain lit by skylights and those unusual high windows up where most rooms are dark&that artwork of a fireplace.The only thing I dont care for is the kitchen with its gray but I think the rounded corners are nice.I like the gates that can lock off sections of the house.Really unique find thanks for exploring and sharing with us!
I don't know if anyone else noticed. But when Ethan is at the pool, watch the very first window to the right. As Nathan is showing the pool , to me it looks like someone is wiping the window with a white cloth. Maybe it's just me or a flower in the wind.
I went back to that part in the video. I had noticed it as well. It happened to be the weed in front of that window waving in the wind, but it sure did look like someone cleaning the window at first glance.
You nailed it Miame Vice. This house could be updated and be so cool. LED lighting on that block glass. Cabinet fronts updated still modern. This house brought me back the mauve cabinets so 80's. So sad nobody can see the potential for this house. I do not modern that much but can see this house being so cool.
Why are they always demolishing nice looking property's instead of tearing down those very old messed up, ugly decade water damage, ruined mansions that nobody wants.

This is absolutely beautiful Mansion 😍 .
For being in the 80's, the owner used the right colors event hough it is white. White and black make the house alot brighter and bigger. It stands out.
Love the glass block window. Easier to clean and cannot see through like your regular windows. This colors and all the enminies in the house were very carefully thought and planned out to articulate withe the other things that were in the house.
Loved the water fountain, and I alos loved that big kitchen. Olive green was the perfect color to use in it.
The whole property was magnificent! The swimming pool was neat as well.
But it is as shame that it is going to demolished. It is somthing that yhe owner isn't going to slavage some of the inside of the house.
I hope you win that lottery so you can save this beautiful Mansion!

I'm a 70s/80's kid and this house is fabulous ! This house just needs to be updated a bit; I wouldn't completely gut out that house in my opinion.
I know I’m late, but watching this I completely understand how sketchy random noises are. When I explore places like this, every noise freaks me out because you have no idea what it could be, even if it could be given a rational explanation. Awesome video though! Love seeing these houses even though I wish I could afford one!

I have looked at old abandoned type houses and wanted to be mosey, but figured I’d end up falling thru the floor. Nothing like these beautiful homes, that really are in move in condition if you could afford them. My whole family could live there and we wouldn’t bump into each other for days. Wow your videos are amazing, this is one of my favorite mansions, it's always refreshing to see a person that appreciates, vintage Styles in architecture. If I had the opportunity to move into that Mansion, I would keep it the way it is. I would add some 80's in style furniture to match the era of the mansion.

The people saying this place is cold and like a hospital should search the original listing photos when it was staged with eclectic furniture and artwork. It's a stunning property! I hope the new owners appreciate it and don't tear it down.
I saw those pictures too, they were from 5~years ago I guess? The front of this house looks like a mess though tbh, I've driven past it once a week for the last 2 years~, and the weeds/high grass are pretty nasty.
Why haven’t you & your homies started a home deconstruction, architectural salvage business? Then you can save the things you can and then resell them. You’re so passionate about these homes. Imagine how great you’d feel each time you save whatever you can from being ripped out and tossed in the dump. Not only would you be recycling some amazing things and giving them a whole new life, but you can make a few bucks.while you do it.
Getting approvals to do this would require mounds of paperwork and time.

The daytime tour allowed viewers to see certain features that would otherwise go unnoticed in a night tour (eg. those long windows running up along the top of the walls, or the pinkish colour being reflected onto the tub in the master bedroom). No matter how many times i see that "ballerina bar" in the master bedroom it still baffles me though! 😂 That furnace room downstairs really does give off a creepy vibe, with it being so dark and massive (and seemingly sound proof). Thanks again for putting in the time and effort for another great video. 🙂

I am so glad you got to document this beautiful mansion in it's pristine untouched condition. It is my dream house too. I wish I was a billionaire, I would have bought the house for you.
What a beautiful home it is very rare when you see house that is intended displayed art but the building itself is a piece of art this home in the mid 80s was built for a developer that built thousands upscale homes hotels and communities this was his personal house where him and his wife lived I believe he died in the mid-2000s but his children now run his development business I have visited some of their properties and have noticed that a lot of the same design elements that impress and wow you and your viewers about this home the same design elements are featured in lots of their current projects it is sad to know that this house is slated for destruction maybe with all the attention you and the other explorers have focused on this this property with thousands of positive comments from all the viewers the children that runs the development company for might see the positive comments and save the home from destruction for them to save this house would just be a drop in the bucket.

Such a unique house! My favorites were the little desk that was sort of isolated in an alcove which I would’ve used for an art studio 🎨 also the mauve bar and master bathroom. Really enjoyed this one Ethan!! #WhatIsUpYouGuys 🌈🌈😊
