It depends on what you want to do. Do you want to appear like you can off road, or do you you actually want to off road? If it’s just looks you’re after, than stick mods for your Trail Boss. If you want to actually do some serious off roading and adventuring, and are willing to put a 68 thousand dollar truck in harms way, get the ZR2. Because other than the Ram Power Wagon, there’s no other serious pick up for actual off roading.
Very true, I haven't had any good opportunities to do some serious off-roading, I am hoping to find more of that in Texas.
Good luck on trying to order a 2022 at this point. If you find a dealer who'll tell you that you still can, they're lying to you. Tried to order one 4 weeks ago, and with all the constraints, and chip shortages, they told me it would never be built seeing as the 2023 models production begins on August 29th.
Ya I decided against it anyways. ZR2 is not much different than what I have now. I’d only gain the 6.2L, front and rear locking differentials, and a new interior.

I'm in the same pickle. Before I drop a few grand modding my 21 similar to yours, I'm wondering if I hold on to that money for the new updated ZR2 or Trail Boss with the Duramax. Everyday I wake up is a different thought. I will say your truck has me wanting to keep what I have and do it similar/identical to yours though! I say KEEP it! I'm trying to tell myself to not chase the newest thing out there. Ha! Good luck!
Haha I hear that! Different thoughts by the day. I received an offer from a subscriber a little over a week ago, before any of this was all on my mind. So he got the hamster wheel rolling, I have him to thank. If it doesn't sell by the 17th, she is staying! I have some mods that I am waiting to come in for it in the mean time too.

Keep yours man. I got a 19 tb I've put so much time and money into. I've been thinking about trading it but I know I'd want to upgrade the zr2 also so I'm going to wait 3 years it seems chevy is finally getting on the right track with off road trucks only time will tell

@@TheBlueGarage yeah I also had a 15 big horn I liked it also. PowerWagon is definitely my next truck. Front and rear lockers ect. My Neighbor just got a 2022 PW but I can justify spending 80 grand lol
