    Amazing how similar your truck is to mine. Cool truck.

      No spacers here, just the -12mm offset. But lots of Smiles Per Gallon

    I jumped the Silverado HD family after owning three in succession , went over to the Tundra family, because GM’s prices have become obscene, hope they go under

      Pretty sure all companies have lost their mind on pricing, using COVID as an excuse.

    What’s the backspacing on those wheels? Any ideas if a 0 offset will still have poke? I want some poke but nothing crazy TIA

    • @TheBlueGarage
      @TheBlueGarage  Před 7 měsíci

      This setup is with a -12mm offset. I’m not sure if 0 will or not. I went with a little offset, didn’t want it to be too crazy.

  • @fbud7534

    Sorry if I missed this in the video, but do you have any wheel spacers on? Or is the -12 offset good enough for clearance of upper control arms with these 35x12.5’s. I have a TB with the same level kit and looking to order tires/wheels asap. Thanks !

    • @TheBlueGarage
      @TheBlueGarage  Před 8 měsíci +1

      No spacers, and the tires only run in full lock to the left. No issues rubbing on the UCA either.

    That looks real good!! I have a Custom in the same color. Ive been wanting to swap the grille out like yours . I love the Chevy script across the custom grille but hate the bare plastic look. What brand is those gloss pillars?

    • @TheBlueGarage
      @TheBlueGarage  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Thanks man! I appreciate it! But the pillars aren’t glossy, could just look that way in the photos and video.

    Hey love your truck! I got a trial boss my self and am looking for a Ismails stance setup. My garage only clears 6’8”, do you think your truck in 35”s could clear that?

    • @TheBlueGarage
      @TheBlueGarage  Před 2 lety

      You will be cutting it close. The stock Trail Boss ride height is ~78.5 inches or 6’6.5” according to Chevy. I’ll have to measure the total height, including the XM antenna to see where the 2” ReadyLift SST lift settled.

    Awesome truck and perfectly done! Quick question, after cutting the mud flap or doing a mud flap delete, at full lock do you have any rubbing with the 35s and the -12 offset?

    • @TheBlueGarage
      @TheBlueGarage  Před 2 lety +1

      Thank you! I do not, but I also tucked the wheel well back after removing the brackets behind them.

      @@TheBlueGarage thank you! Trying to keep Pennsylvania winters in mind with how big I can go on the tires and have room for snow to get up in there and didn’t want to rub. More tire less rim on a truck is definitely the look I prefer!

    • @TheBlueGarage
      @TheBlueGarage  Před 2 lety

      @@joeparisi9735 I get that. I definitely prefer the "more rubber wheel look." Where in PA? I am originally from Pittsburgh.

      @@TheBlueGarage about 2 hours east of Pittsburgh in Altoona. My Ready lift SST just come in yesterday and I’m getting that thrown on next week, I also prefer the look with using the rear block rather than just install the front portion of the kit. Wheels and tires will follow in the next couple weeks, the 17s with 35s looks killer! Did you cut anything in the front at all, I know there is a bracket there as well?

    • @TheBlueGarage
      @TheBlueGarage  Před 2 lety +1

      @@joeparisi9735 Ok, very familiar with Altoona. You will love the lift, it is a fairly easy install. It was the first lift I ever installed. I removed the metal bracket in the backside of the wheel well and then cut the plastic bracket in the front, before tucking the liner back an extra few inches. 17s with 35s is the only way to go in my opinion, unless you can throw 37s on. 😅

  • @Livin_Easy
    @Livin_Easy Před 2 lety

    I like that stance. is that just an additional 2" level lift? I have an AT4 and on the fence to do a 4" lift (netting 6" standard lift) or a 2" ready lift with 35's. I figure if I do either one if I can keep my 18"gmc wheels on and run approx 35's

    • @TheBlueGarage
      @TheBlueGarage  Před 2 lety

      Thank you, I have the ReadyLift SST on which adds 2” to the front and 1” to the rear. I thought about going to a 6” lift as well.

    How much taller did the truck get once you put the 35s on there? I have the same Readylift kit on my Trail Boss but I’m still running the stock 275/65 tires. Also, do you ever park next to other stock Trail Bosses in random parking lots just to see how much taller yours is?

    • @TheBlueGarage
      @TheBlueGarage  Před rokem

      I’m pretty sure it’s only another inch taller. I never measured to be exact. I have parked next to a couple, you can definitely see the difference. It looks like a more aggressive stance as well.
