Thank god Guy is doing more on these programmes.
I have a 1967 BSA lightning that I fully restored 20years ago. Glad to see one on the show, even happier that mine is much better!
120 mph if you dropped it from a plane.
I never took mine over 60 because of the vibrations, however the engine was tuned to the max. as standard from the factory. Shame the big ends were from 1950.

My Aunt has an A10. Its now in bits but back in the 70s it had a chair on. Many great memories in that sidecar with that engine sound.
Love seeing old bits of kit being given a second go!. Nice one, Nuff said. đ
I blew mine up..youth made me overrev..I glued a 78 tiger in the frame..5 speeds and 140⊠and disc brakes..
This reminds me very much of my friend Charlie who passed on this very motorcycle hit by a drunk driver but I remember the good times like him riding my 74 KZ and me writing this motorcycle
Wow, that BSA model are still available running in North Sumatera, Siantar city. More than a hundred used as public transportation there.
Love those silencers or lack of them!
Would like to see all the sheds in detail !
Nice Bike fellas đđđđđđđ
Guy always reminds me of Lovejoy đ
Good on you boys I love your program ,often see it I once owned a BSA LIGHTNING 650,fantastic bike and the number plate was FLY650J.
Nice one guys, liked and subscribed.
I miss my old a65 my first one was a 65 Australian police bike my second one was an oil in frame conical hub model .but the first one was my favourite I put a lighting crank with stainless steel valves a spitfire cam & latter large valve thunderbolts head .it flew my longest ride was from Byron bay in NS W to Murray ridge in Sa a total of 1,800 klm each way .
These to mates look like they could be cousins of the Stones
@ John PartridgeâŠâŠIâm not a motorcycle enthusiast, but I really like the looks of that BSA you guys got for ÂŁ1,650 pounds. Looks like it just needs a good clean up. Hopefully it starts and runs perfectly and you guys can make a few quid on itđđ Thatâs what itâs all about đ
he offered 4500 pounds ...it went for 4650...

Not an expert on classic bikes, but would loved to hear from anyone who watched this who has taken the bike up to 120 as standard and the overall experience.
I have a 69 650 thunderbolt thatâs about 95%restored and being 6â2 265 pounds I look like a monster riding the bike
"all the clocks work" lol speedo and tach both dead...@ 7:09...
I am hoping to buy a brand new Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 when the mortgage is paid off - but I would have bitten your hand off to buy this bike for ÂŁ5,000. This was the bike I wanted in my early teens.
120 mph,yea rightđ
Wld have thought you might have checked engine oil level/changed oil? And didn't check Primary Case oil level?
Just because it wasn't in the video doesn't mean it wasn't checked before riding it.

Do u GT drunk on tea? Henry either as a jet wash in his hands or a cup of tea...it's time Henry too see you with a spanner in Ur hand
Skid..... could use a head shave
I wouldn't trust the sludge trap on a unit that has sat that long and with mileage...

weres Sam,,?????????
Blimey half a program not happy
Gave up watching it, I find Henry an insufferable prick, an interesting subject ruined by his immaturity.
Henry has no skills apart from his mouth, and he admits it. The A65 was a poor relation of the A10. The A65 were built by unskilled labour, and it showed in poor assembly skills.
c'est quoi c'est pb ils font honte a bsa
