Gabe Ikard hosted Cam Newton on his visit to Oklahoma before he chose Auburn. If Stoops would have lied and said yeah Cam you'll be the starter. Cam would have probably been a Sooner. Gabe Ikard talked about the entire thing on one of the Oklahoma Breakdown episodes.

I'm just glad that our games will all be at least a little more exciting. And it will be fun to see fanbases that actually travel to our house, and don't let us buy out the game at their house too, and make it look like a home game for us.
Word of advice.....
Any OU fan who travels to Ole Miss...be wary. I lost count years ago how many times a whiskey or beer bottle came landing close to me and friends.
Also.....whose the biggest a holes in the world? Lawyers and Doctors. Who goes to school at Ole Miss? Lawyers and Doctors.

I literally just had that happen Tuesday. I checked Tuesday morning and the package was in Tecumseh Oklahoma. Check it a few hours later and it's in Watumka Oklahoma. They told me it would get sent back to Oklahoma City and then back to Tecumseh Oklahoma.

So that means they're all on the same level. There's Kirby Smart, then everyone else is below. That means that every fan base outside of Athens shouldn't talk shit about the University of Oklahoma. Some of you are just pissed that their school is going to be bumped down in the pecking order of the SEC. Not only that, but now that OU and texass are in the SEC they are going to be taking recruits that would normally pass on them, simply because they were in the Big12. Brent Venables is already stacking top 10 recruiting classes and will only continue to do so. Don't like it? Send more money to your NIL program.

Over the last 3-4 recruiting cycles there are at least four SEC teams recruiting at a higher level. Didn't the top OLine prospect from OK commit to auburn a few weeks back? That saw cuts both ways.
