Not to get political but while watching this I noticed that I’ve never heard an anti- Christian song that isn’t full of hate and I’ve never heard a Christian song that isn’t about love, I’m certain they exist somewhere, but it’s just interesting to see that the people calling out supposedly hateful groups are just as hateful

I have been a long-time fan of this series, but just noticed how much detail was put into this animation like
1.) Most of Missy's actions are similar to what Duke did in the first animation
2.) When Missy turns on the light at the beginning, she also opens the curtain so that Duke won't pull the same trick she used on him
3.) A long time has passed since the first ep probably because she needed to get used to the power and learn more about Duke (Like how he has daddy issues)
4.) The fact that the castle was clean in the first ep, but slightly dusty in this animation shows the personality of the characters
5.) The way the castle is dusty but the bag Missy brought is even dustier shows how uninterested she is in returning to Melisa
(I might be wrong in some of this, but it was still fun looking for details)

So, my theory is, she brought him back to screw him over for turning her into a vampire or the cane wants to get back at its original master for some petty reason.
At first I was surprised by the song choice, but I think it suits Missi. We know from the fact she was reading Twilight that she's a teenage girl from the modern era, or at least *was* a modern teen before her encounter with Duke. Most modern teenage girls don't listen to dark carabet, but many of them listen to pop, so it makes sense for pop to be playing while she is in control. I think it helps convey the fact that Missi is control this time: she gets to 'choose' the music because she's the one pulling the strings.
That's actually a really clever way of thinking of it, furthermore I also think the song choice is commentary on most girls who read stuff like Twilight.
Think about it, most Twilight fans would be praying for Duke to come back to them but Missi's smarter than that; she remembers what Duke did to invade her privacy and even though the real Missi (as in one-not possessed by the cane) might take more calm action, the cane is probably just bringing out what she wanted to do and since she's evil in this form, it makes since she'd go all the way.
Essentially Missi is different because she's reacting to this situation in the same way MOST young girls would react to a real life Twilight, hence the song choice.
