Man, I want to see Frank host more TV for young people. He could've done a whole series like this.

Great video, it appears that Frank was very ill at this point in his life, you can tell he's trying to brush it off to get his point across, FZ will live forever!

I never heard Frank talk about the Federal Reserve so I sense his knowledge of hidden history was rather incomplete. Not for lack of intelligence, he just spent 99% of his free time making music.

What hidden history is there regarding the Federal Reserve?

@David Collins ~ They are kind of asleep ~ most know a little about it...but they let stuff go, like the attempted over throw of FDR, Maj Gen. Smedly Butler exposing a coup attempt. ~ how that got swept under the rug is astonishing ! Yet people don't seem to care. So much stuff and of course tape is time limited. You can only cover so much ground. I don't have proof, but I'd expect F. Z. could fit in with libertarians ...libertarians and democratic socialists have over lap ~ mostly civil liberties I believe. ( I'm not sure how FZ would feel about things like capital gains tax, corporate tax rates, off shore ( dark money, tax shelters, black banking ) it's a left issue but you can see the connections, I'm sure.

Politicians are bought and sold in DC. More Voters benefits the left most these days.

All of this foul shit aside I seriously believe America should enact voter testing with simple questions needing to be answered correctly before people are allowed to vote ,simple questions anybody should be able to answer ,even African immigrants like me and my Lebanese immigrant wife .
#1 Who is the Governor of your state .
#2 Who is the congressmen for your state .
#3 Who are the Senators of your state .
#4 A multiple choice question asking what role the Speaker of the House plays .
#5 Who is the Attorney General .
#6 Why do we celebrate the 4th of July .
#7 Which political party was pro slavery and which was anti slavery .
#8 Which political party created the KKK .
#9 Which political party blocked civil rights act of 1964 .
#10 Which political party was responsible for Jim Crow .
Don't anybody dare even say these questions are racist against anybody except idiots ,if you don't even know who the Attorney general is then it's assured your not informed of the proposed policies of both candidates ,while Frank Zappa keenly narrates this he is also on record exclaiming that people who are ignorant of the issues at hand would be best off not registering to vote

There were many Democrats in the North and West who voted for the Civil Rights Act, and all eight of the Southern Republicans voted against it. The combined force of the mostly Democrat South with a mix of Democrats and Republicans from other regions blocked it for a long time. The split was much more North/South (and to some degree urban/rural) than Emocrat/Republican. The South was mostly Democrat, but again all the Southern Republicans voted in line because they were Southern.
That act was the culmination of the party switch that had started with the Progressives in the early 20th century and continued with FDR, and the end of the "Dixiecrats", i.e. segregationist Southern Dems.
The Southern strategy was very real, as Lee Atwater, the guy in charge of it, freely admitted on camera.

Pretty cheap production. Was this put out by some community college?
