I bought a 1/1 condo in Pompano, right on the water at the end of Atlantic way back in 2000, for I think $80K. Man those were the days, people thinking you were a baller because you lived on the water. Windows all the way down the floor. Such great place to live and go through your 20's and 30's. Riverwalk just opened and was PACKED with wall to wall beauties. Had to sell it a couple years later for a little gain, but man I'll never forget those days.

If I lived in Davie, I would not say I live in Ft. Lauderdale. I'd say I live in Davie.

Lauderdale is crammed and over priced for what it offers. There are other coastal cities in florida that are much nicer and offer more.

I appreciate your perspective and thats a good point. There is definitely plenty of coastal cities that could offer more to someone. It’s subjective for everybody. It may not be too crammed and overpriced for someone who wants the specific lifestyle that FTL offers. I, for example, had my sights set on Miami when I first moved here and after seeing how crammed and expensive Miami was, Fort Lauderdale seemed like a breath of fresh air to me. Thanks for watching 🙏
