15:53 - You can heal not just you (on camp) but other adventurers (on watch) as well. So later - here at 1:00:23 - you could've heal the Monk (who spent his camp actions and was very hurt) and heal the barbarian twice anyway (with her class special).
29:43 - Not every Summon exhaust you an ability. There are different types of Summon Card effects and some doesn't exhaust adventurer's abilities. But of course in your case you choose 2 of the default Summons who do exhaust, so it's technically right.
Kudos for fixing the other minor mistakes while editing.
Overall that was a very good playthrough (one of the best Set A Watch playthroughs on youtube - I've watched them all, since this is on of my favorite games of all time). Very solid decision making. It shows how easy the game could be if you manage to solve the "puzzle" well enough. And you did it with flying colors.
I don't see mistakes that make you won - you just played very well.
People are complaining the game is too hard and other are saying it's too easy - and it's all depending on how well you play it. That makes the game actually perfectly balanced, because you can't make it easier if people already feel it's easy and you can't make it harder if other people already feel it's hard.
It's just a great game with huge luck mitigation opportunities and a great puzzle that depend strictly on your solving prowess.
I am still waiting for my Sword of the Coin copy (I'm in Europe and devs have problems with the shipping crisis), but I see the expansion have harder Creatures (with much more nasty Reveal and First Position effects), however the super useful and powerful items are balancing it overall. Such an amazing game with a great expansion. And they planned it to be a trilogy so a third instalment is coming in the future.
I would love to see more Set A Watch playthroughs from you, Colin. You are definitely one of the best board games youtubers.

14:30 " ... and remember you can activate your abilities with any numbered die ..." points to the abilities of the Barbarian, who CAN'T activate abilities with dice - LOL

I have played Set A Watch several times and it has always been a challenge. I once had 19 cards in the last round! I lost. This did seem easier but may be down to luck? I haven't played my copy yet but am looking forward to giving it a try.

@@OneStopCoopShop played the original last night and got to the end with all abilities exhausted and 17 cards in the horde! Gave up! Tried Swords of the Coin this afternoon. First game I had all abilities exhausted by the end of round two. Second game I had 6 abilities exhausted and 3 cards going into the horde......at the end of round one! I was done by the end of round two.
I am really bad at this game?! Putting it back in the cupboard, never to take it out again!?

It honestly looks like the enemies are easier on this expansion. I’m playing the base game and there’s not one creature under 7 hp. Always running out of dice!

It appears that the merchant has made the game to easy compared to the original. Looking forward to my copy arriving though I will probably just use some of the new characters and monsters with the original game instead of the merchant to make it tougher.
I think it's more the enemies. If you don't play with the merchant then the bounty hunter is not playable. I'd recommend trying the enemies from the base first!
Nice playthrough, but the game felt super easy...and now i have doubts if i should purchase it or not

i just bought the base game. its a very fun game but in about the 6 games ive played so far i havent won a single game lol.
The base game is brutal!! This one is easier!
I just love the theme of this game (and expansions) and can't wait to get this game.
Side note: I am actually working on designing a game that has a lot in common with this game which makes me want to play this game even more for inspiration.

to me it seems like a high level of luck when you play, sometimes you just can't win regardless of skill if you get low rolls and monsters keep combo on you
It sure is luck dependent but I like how low dice can be used on skills
