    Hi Karina, both blouses fit you beautifully around the neck and across the bust and they are so flattering. I have just finished sewing up the Sinclair Chloe draped shoulder cowl neck pattern and selecting the tall option. I am delighted with how well it fits. So I will think very seriously about adding this blouse to my collection as I also find the tall option very helpful. Happy sewing.🌸

    THANK YOU ‘sew’ much for posting this video ! I’m a very experienced sewer and the burrito technique for the sleeveless blouse really had me stumped ! I searched CZcams for this exact tutorial and there you were !! I love this pattern maker so much ! My blouse came out beautifully!

    The pattern reminds me off the Friday Pattern Company Sagebrush top, but I prefer this lower square neckline and sleeve options. I've purchased through your affiliate link. Thanks for the helpful sewing content. Love your versions!

      I think the only similarity is the optional ruffle across the front…. This one has neckline that’s very different…. The square seals de deal for me 😀

    You are a good trooper for modelling in Summer clothing during freezing weather! 😅 I especially love the second top print. Anyhow, great-looking tops!

    Again, I look at the thumbnail and think it's not for me, then I watch your video and I'm sold. I love all your details and tips, especially the hand basting, I now use this all the time and it's so worth it.
    On this particular pattern, I am going to figure out how to cuff the sleeve differently as the one they show, I know is not for me. Maybe a buttoned cuff or something.🤔

    I love the print one best. I think it fits you better. But I love the sleeveless style too. I think it could a great one to use up leftover fabric. Great job.

    Both of your Bloom blouses are beautiful! Square necklines are one of my faves. Thanks for the tutorial and for braving the cold weather to model in your parents’ lovely garden.

    Karina you are a legend 😅. I saw this pattern release from the email and thought, well that’s a lovely pattern but not really something I could see myself wearing, so deleted the email. I’ve now just seen this video, and yours looks so amazing, and your stying of it all of a sudden has made me see how useful this would be for my wardrobe and hopefully look almost as good as yours! Clicking on your link to purchase now… 😂

    Dear Katrina, I learned a great tip from Marie on utube, My Bucolic Life. When she cuts down a wide seam allowance, she uses pinking shears. The tiny zig-zag cut does not leave a line after being enclosed and pressing.
    I hope you have a good fire inside to warm up, when you go indoors!

    • @LiftingPinsandNeedles
      @LiftingPinsandNeedles  Před 2 měsíci +1

      I have not been able to find a good pinking shears for fabric. I found one that does well for interfacing but not well on fabric. When I find one, I intend on doing what you mention as I’ve been aware. The tools let me down.
