Needless to say, this was a great video. The image composition is beautiful and the historic contextualization is, as usual, a very welcome feature. We really appreciate your work. Thank you.
All thumbs upward! An unexpected dose of knife culture, served apparently with some splendid accompaniments. I got your book, but am saving it to go with a proper bottle of something special.
Really lovely knives. I need one for my collection. I’ve just been over to his website, and it’s just a matter of which. I am familiar with your book, and love it!
Beautiful knife that was well captured and presented in your video. 👏 Thank you for the excellent presentation. I enjoyed seeing the Galen Leather items and Reylight Brass Pineapple. 😉 Would be great to have some additions to your All Things Brass website down the track.
QUESTION...When making the videos and showing the cutting ability, do you use the knife "out of the box" or do you sharpen first? In other words, for all of the videos I have watched (10 maybe) the cutting effort seems very easy. The knives seem very sharp. So I am wondering, do you sharpen them first to get the best ease of cutting? I am not trying to be critical just want to know what to expect if I add one of the knives to my collection. Thank you.
@@lewisgreenway5065 I'm familiar with the knife laws in the UK. But it's also a reality that most knife makers have other priorities than considering the legal situation in the UK.

Great to see a new video from you Stefan, and another beautiful knife too. Made my day a little bit brighter.
I appreciate your kind words. Thank you, Mark!
Another excellent "knife and wine and cheese" video for my Monday morning... exactly as I love.... Thank you Stefan!
Thanks for watching, Valentin!

You are the best at presenting french knives my friend. Deutsche qualität ! Cheers from France.
Thank you for your very kind words!
Excellent video, my friend.
Thanks for watching, my friend!
It's a great job and high quality, all unique and artisanal. I really like the "Africa" collection, the 1515s are excellent knives.
Thanks for watching!
Awesome video and awesome content.
Thanks for watching!
Great video! Thank you so much!
Thanks for watching!
100% Pavlovian.. hear notification bell, cut summer sausage, cheese and bread with crappy kitchen knife and sit down to watch another gem from Stefan.
😂😂😂 Thanks for the good laugh, my friend!
You need a good knife, either kitchen or folding, to prepare your snack! :)
I loved this new knife in the video. Thanks again Stefan!
Thanks for watching!
Übrigens: the late worm survive ;-))

Fantastic Video

I don't sharpen them.
Hey, when are we gonna start featuring more beer in the B-role?
Or sparkling whines. In a well lit glass, makes for good footage
French beer is difficult to find here in Germany. And champagne is a bit too decadent for a knife review. 😂
@@StefanSchmalhaus fair enough!
Nice if they did slip joint, lock back not legal to carry in UK.
The 1515 has been a liner lock since the beginning.
@@StefanSchmalhaus Thank you for reply, I also need to add the blade length makes it illegal for UK carry, very limited to what knives we can have.
