this camera is intended for events videographers mostly, or small local TV.
camera is very cost effective and comes with some very nice features as well as this is the direct competitor of some other cameras 1/4 from Sony and panasonic which cost a bit more and have less functionality.
the lens, are fixed 16x.
regard the mic input there is a possibility to add another external mic with jack (sorry no xlr) it looks like there were not many possibilities.

I have the GY-HM70U when I pan the camera the recorded video shows a snap in the footage. Why is this happening and how do I get rid of it? I have tried changing settings the camera did not do this when I first got it and now it does it all the time. Can someone please help???
