    At 2:51 on the left side is the rock going up river.
    10:40 is right before I hit.

    Wow doggie. !
    Get yourself a polymer shoe.
    And wetlander coating for the bottom of your boat. It’ll help some with impacts. Keep them as big ass dents instead of gashes.

    Welcome to jet boating! I hit a rock and almost didn’t make it back to ramp with bilge pump on.....Hasn’t stopped me.

    Very surprised at the amount of damage. That was barely a lick.

      It felt like a pretty hard lick to me. It was a pointy rock and just under the surface.. I DID take a chip out of that damn rock though.

    You get your boat fixed? I hit a rock drifting in mine. I have a big dent but no leaks

    • @dbruce9035
      @dbruce9035  Před 5 lety

      Yes I did. My holes were right under the rear bench seat. Had to cut and remove foam before welding.

      I've never really thought about it. I can always walk on it barefoot with no problem even on the hottest days.

      @@dbruce9035 You never thinking about it tells me it will work. Ill cut it to size and wrap edges with rubber u channel.
      1st time you ripped open your boat? Blazer using .100 tempered or non tempered?

    • @dbruce9035
      @dbruce9035  Před 5 lety

      @@Ajaxaxxess It's .100, I don't know about the tempered? I did hit really hard and it was only some small holes. Basically, it pushed up the hull and ripped a small hole when it came to the inner rib. If the ribs had run the length (front to back) and not across, I don't thing the hit would have caused a leak.

      @@dbruce9035 Does it tear like a pop can or stretch/bend then rip?

    • @dbruce9035
      @dbruce9035  Před 5 lety

      @@Ajaxaxxess Stretch/bend then rip. The holes were only where the ribs were.
