- The Sarawak government has reservations about the sheer amount of personal information required by the Central Database Hub (Padu), says a state minister.
Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said the matter was discussed in the state Cabinet with a view of requesting some changes for Sarawak.

@@l_ifeefi_l1998The difference betwwen mysejahtera and padu is the sheer amount of personal data concentrated within one database. When there's a leak in mysejahtera, you lose vaccination and some check-in record, bad as that may be. When there's a leak in padu, all your financial data is exposed.
If you can't even see the difference between the two, then please don't vote, because your vote would be highly uninformed.

Definitely am not trusting PADU. I have lots of reservations concerning privacy of data. These info can be obtained from LHDN.

Every info that we all key in will be used against us. If you are B40, Padu will reject your application as you may owned a million ringgit property which is inherited. The reason we need to provide all private info is to used against us in future.

Given Rafizi's background as the founder of Invoke Malaysia, it's wise to bear some degree of suspicions on that data pooling system. There is definitely something fishy with PADU considering Invoke Malaysia is his political tool in stategizing for electoral advantage. Also, bear in mind that Invoke Malaysia is assisted occasionally by Andrew Caster, an analytics officer from former US President Barack Obama's 2012 reelection campaign. Just hope that the CIA isn't involved in this fiasco.

this is true, but the problem is, guarantee is that your data secure or not. I hve group, someone told me his bank acount missing some money after rgster padu about 2 days later. another group share, someone hack PADU server and show people ID, the ID information price sell about 140K USD to someone.
Its silly and redundant to have a 'padu'. Where the personal data are already with income tax dept and other government agencies. This only make it harder for the common folk, who really needed help and assistance. Dumb idea as it is, and wasting resources. Is malaysia being a police state.

To me, I'm an ordinary citizen with low income, no property except for a house am living now and a 15 years old car. I needed a susidiary items given by the government including petrol to support daily expenditure. I've got nothing to hide, so be it. Jadi awak suka la terima bantuan dari kerajaan. Cuba awak tolong kerajaan bangunkan negara. Kalau setakat ordinary excuses macam ni sampai bila bila pun negara tak maju. PADU is the begining of a "Police State". Once you submit your data, what is stopping them to enter into your home and property to verify your data.
There had been data theft. Banks have lost such data like name, IC number, address and phone number. Also bank balances.
If PADU loses data, it as far worse.

Padu is the best system made for citizens to check if they eligible for help..only sarawak gps dont want this so that thier citizens wont be able to expose their financial backgrounds....which is one of poorest in Malaysia
It is reasonable for those who apply for help especially those who are poor, to fill in forms for PADU for verification etc
Itu Pendirian peribadi yb Karim.sepertimana yg yb RR bagitahu telah ramai rakyat Sarawak b40/rakyat biasa mendaftar padu ,cuma yg bekerja dgn kerjaan Belum mendaftar.
When you change too often or too many times then nothing changed
PADU ni untuk yang memerlukan bantuan; yang kaya dan dah tak perlu bantuan tak perlu comply with the requirement. Cuma, later when Govt float semua harga barang (petrol, diesel, gula, garam, minyak masak, etc) at market rate, jangan pula geng “tak PADU” ini complaint harga mahal, kos sara hidup tinggi dll. The choice is yours. In fact, lagi sikit orang comply dengan PADU, lagi baik kepada kewangan Negara kerana tidak perlu keluarka dana yang banyak untuk penyasaran semula subsidi kepada rakyat; lalu dana boleh disalurkan kepada urusan pembangunan lain.

Rafizi is not the righteous person I thought he was!! He talks too much nowadays and the flaws are showing with all the initiative he is handling on subsidies. With Padu he is showing his arrogant side n naive and instead of being receptive of the feedback/criticism, he seem to be aggressively defending. He is asking for info as if this is a ideal and just world without thieves, hacker, scammer, .....There must be a reason why so many ppl are not filling the PADU information. PADU to me is like LHDN, Banking info, CV, Asset Declaration, Family Tree etc all in one. It is a honeypot for scammers, thieves and hackers. The Sarawak minister is the only main person to voice out. I am disappointed with DAP AGAIN. Imagine if this was BN Govt's PADU, DAP would have voiced out loudly against the PADU but here silent like a church mouse. HOPE PMX Anwar pls wake up. This is a serious breach of privacy while scammer activities are so rampant and not dealt with, this information shared will cause/create further chaos !! While on one hand, Rafizi says PADU is not compulsory, on the other hand he is silently threatening that subsidy or funds will not be channelled if failure to receive those info.

Tak perlu la nak politikkan pasal ambik data utk PRU ke apa, tak pasal pasal menakutkan org. Maklumat utk PADU disyorkan isi sendiri utk kemas kini & elakkan keciciran.
Kalau rasa dah kaya & tak perlu bantuan, tak perlu la isi. Data pentadbiran dah ada cuma ada yg dah outdated. E-kasih guna pengkelasan B40, M40 etc, PADU nak fokus dekat disposable income, sebab tu kena ada format baru.

I beg to differ. The reason PADU wants this info is to ascertain ones qualification for govt benefit. There are many who do not qualify but are getting benefits now. These people should be weeded out.Please lah..be honest. Poor people have no problem being naked. It's those who want to hoodwink the govt that have problems.

PADU tidak jauh bezanya dengan BANCI PENDUDUK....perlunya diketahui pendapatan rakyat.Larangan untuk isi PADU adakah untuk cuba mengelak dari diketahui "rahsia" pendapatan atau tahap kemiskinan rakyat disesebuah negeri?Orang kaya.....akan berlakunya "pengubalan wang haram"
