I got back into detecting some years ago with a Quest Q40 and enjoyed using it, I then progressed to the Equinox 800. My partner uses a an X10 pro which is great value for money. I'm tempted by the V80 , nice looking machine.
Nice first look at the v80 Ottis, I'm really can't wait to get one, my only drawback is that the control box / screen has been an after thought especially when you compare it to the X & Q ranges but I suppose it's only cosmetic, it's how it performs that counts! Looking forward to seeing some more videos on it 👍🏻
Yea it's looking great. My Mars Guass MD has the power options to reduce power to the coil. I like the bar ferrus to the left and non ferrous to right reminder of the older days of detecting and a great addition. Looking forward to seeing this on the beach
It looks great. i use a q30 currently, and i love it. The hyper q is what the q30 needs. The only issue i have with the q30 is i have to use it in gold mode under Pylons to stop it chirping. I would like to see how it is under the power line as i have 3 permissions with power lines and pylons. So that would be a test request from me. I would like to buy the V80. The screen on the V80 looks great, and the sounds are nice, too. Look forward to seeing more tests. My only other question would be battery life. i can get 3 full days with the q30, so it will be interesting to see how long it lasts. Thanks for the review and look forward to more videos on the V80

And you actually did it, despite the freaking weather and the jetlag.(one hour, but stil..😉) I’m just gonna get myself a nice cup of coffee and wait for the next video😎 For the next video, could perhaps show us what the sound is like when you set it to ‘99’ instead of ‘5’? Just got mine yesterday, its in comparison to my Q20 loaded with settings. I have to figure out how to operate this new machine. But the Carbon rod is so nice,😍 Would be nice if there will be a new Pinpointer that connects to the V80 via Bluetooth to put out the tones through the Headphones
Wanted to purchase it since it's already arrived at my area. Not much review for V80 in English. Can't decided yet to purchase it or not due to not much convince review for this machine. Currently using XP Deus II and wanted to get a backup machine. I'm actually interested in beach hunting. If you can provide V80 video on beach & buried Gold Ring and Gold Chain and get the reading. Thank you for your time and I will be waiting for your V80 beach video 😊😊😊
I am currently looking to upgrade from a 540 and with the money I have to spend the legend was looking a dead cert, but the V80 is going to be in the same ball park. I would be very interested to see any comparison videos, especially concerning recovery speed and separation as my ground is full of junk.

The final version of the V80 is available in my store in Belgium since this morning. I was getting ready to buy the nokta legend or the deux ORX. Now I don't know what to do anymore because I also wanted this new detector. Help me. What should I do ???

Yes you can! But because mine are just standard ones for my iPhone they did have lag. Quest are also going to be launching bone conduction headphones soon too.
Any idea what the price is going to be on it? I like the menu system and love the clock feature. In future video, I would like to see exactly what this gyro does as far as swing motion, don't quite understand that. Great video, thanks!
The V80 bundle (extra coil) will be £799 The V80 without extra coils will be £699 and the V60 will be £599. I will definitely be doing more in depth videos about all the features of the V80 very soon.

I have the quest 5 and 10 and the 30 and I like them alot. I would like to see a how Deep in the ground it goes and a speration test also.👍👍👍

For beach hunting, you cant get a better value/price backup detector than x-terra pro.
Separation of the iron and hammered coin below was bad, lcd screen looks good though. Currently using the quest q40 which is a great all rounder
